The Statue

This statue currently stands outside the Iraqi palace, now home to the 4th Infantry division. It will eventually be shipped home and put in the memorial museum in Fort Hood , TX.

The statue was created by an Iraqi artist named Kalat, who for years was forced by Saddam Hussein to make the many hundreds of bronze busts of Saddam that dotted Baghdad.....
Kalat was so grateful for the Americans liberation of his country; he melted 3 of the heads of the fallen Saddam and made the statue as a memorial to the American soldiers and their fallen warriors. Kalat worked on this memorial night and day for several months.
To the left of the kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi girl giving the soldier comfort as he mourns the loss of his comrade in arms.

I bet it never appeared in the NY Times, Time Magazine, the St. Pete times. Do you know why we don't hear about this in the news?
Because it is heart-warming and praise worthy..

The media avoids it because it does not have the shock effect – and they take the position that nothing positive can ever be reported about the fall of Hussein in Iraq. Heaven forbid that people might begin to think that Bush had a legitimate position on the war and that something good came from it. Heck our own TOTUS (Teleprompter of the U.S) could not even say we were winning the War and the Surge worked. The TOTUS, Barry is the last thing our Military needs. He has despised our own Military during his life. He puts up a front now for Political purposes. Some of us knew all along that Barry, the TOTUS was Anti-American.

But we can do something about it. We can pass this along to as many people as we can in honor of all our brave military who are making a difference.

Floor remarks of Sen. Bill Nelson

March 24, 2010

Mr. President, for the first time, we as a nation are recognizing that people have a right to not be destroyed by sickness.

Under the Senate bill passed by the House and signed into law by the president - folks will no longer have to choose between their health and their pocketbooks.

Parents will no longer have to worry about whether they can afford to get their kids to the doctor.

Seniors won’t have to wonder if Medicare will still be there for them several years down the road.

Health-care reform doesn’t mean people won’t have to continue to take responsibility for themselves and their families.

The bill we passed – and the even the one we’re now debating - improves health care affordability and access for all. But it still requires that folks do their part.

Families that can afford to will be asked to contribute to the cost of their coverage. And people are expected to get regular primary care – so that they don’t end up in the emergency room with something that could’ve been treated easily and cheaply had it been addressed sooner.

But very, very importantly, we’re also going to hold the insurance companies accountable.

We’re finally telling them – you can’t drop someone just because they get sick. You can’t cap someone’s benefits because you’re tired of paying for their care. And you can’t decide not to offer someone coverage because they have a preexisting condition.

We’re telling them: no more; no more; no more.

We’re also saying to our seniors – we as a nation remain unwavering in our commitment to protect and preserve Medicare for today, tomorrow and the next millennium.

You know, there’s been an awful lot of misinformation going around about something called Medicare advantage.

Fact is, the original Senate bill proposed an unfair way to fix overpayments to these private Medicare plans.

The fix would have come at the expense of seniors living in areas with high medical costs, like my state of Florida. I got an amendment passed in committee that fixed the problem fairly.

Under this reconciliation bill, the president has proposed another way to rein in Medicare Advantage companies – one that upon close inspection also treats seniors fairly.

It puts companies on the hook for their performance. If they don’t provide quality service, their reimbursements are cut.

I appreciate the president’s leadership on this issue and the fact that he heard the concerns expressed by me and a number of other senators including Sens. Schumer and Wyden.

Now having said all this, I also have to say we’ve left something undone in the Senate bill that’s now law – and even in the reconciliation package.

I’m not happy that this legislation lets drug makers pretty much off the hook. You all know that over the past few years I’ve been voicing the concerns and fears of residents in my state about what’s been happening to their drug prices.

I also hear from folks who can’t afford their medications when they hit the prescription drug coverage gap known as the doughnut hole. They skimp on food, or split their pills or stop taking them altogether. And while this bill offers a discount to seniors in the doughnut hole, there’s nothing to keep drug companies from continuing to jack up their prices until that discount is meaningless.

I also hear from folks who are frustrated that folks in other countries are getting the very same drugs for much less they we pay here.

Mr. President, I had an amendment that would have required the drug industry to pay a fair share of the tab for health care reform. It required drug manufacturers to give the government price breaks on drugs for a lot of low-income seniors.

This would have saved us an estimated $106 billion which is more than enough to close the doughnut hole altogether, and then make a dent in offsetting the federal deficit.

I, for one, intend to come back here and revisit this.

Meantime, Mr. President, I want to say this reconciliation bill deepens and extends the promise of the health care reform bill that was signed into law this week.

I stood with the president when he put pen to paper yesterday. I think it’s great we’ve begun the process of health care reform.

It has been said by many folks in many different ways that - we are not put on earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other.

Well, here we are – and, here we are debating legislation that stands to improve the lives of tens of millions of Americans.

Therefore, despite its flaws, I will vote to pass this legislation.

Thank you, Mr. President. I yield the floor.

AT&T Joins Growing List of Firms That Say Health Care Law Will Cut Into Their Profits

AT&T is the latest and biggest company to announce the costly impact that the health care overhaul will have on its bottom line.

AT&T said Friday that it is preparing for President Obama's health care overhaul to cost the telecommunications giant an additional $1 billion in expenses in the first quarter, possibly forcing the company to cut benefits it offers to current and retired workers.

AT&T is the latest and biggest company to account for the financial impact that the health care overhaul will have on its bottom line. It said the tax ramifications related to the legislation that Obama signed Tuesday will force it to take a non-cash charge -- an expense that does not require cash to be paid out but has to be charged against the company's earnings.

Earlier this week, AK Steel Corp., Caterpillar, Deere and Valero Energy announced similar accounting charges, saying the health care law will raise their expenses. On Friday, 3M said it will also take a charge of $85 million to $90 million.

But AT&T's charge is the largest disclosed so far. The other five's combined charges are less than half of the $1 billion that AT&T is planning. And the $1 billion is a third of AT&T's most recent quarterly profit. In the fourth quarter of 2009, the company earned $3 billion on revenue of $30.9 billion.

The sweeping health care legislation that Obama signed into law Tuesday requires companies of a certain size to provide health care coverage to their workers in an effort to expand insurance to some 32 million Americans.

Taxes on some companies are being raised to help defray the cost of the legislation.

AT&T said Friday that the charge reflects changes to how Medicare subsidies are taxed. Companies say the health care overhaul will require them to start paying taxes next year on a subsidy they receive for retiree drug coverage.

Business organizations, such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, have slammed the new law, arguing it will hurt companies by adding new costs and additional tax burdens.

Chamber spokesman Blair Latoff said Friday in an e-mail that altering the tax law "will have a negative impact" on companies' cash flows, particularly in the first year of the law's enactment.

Latoff added, "the government will quickly find out that by raising the costs for employers to provide retiree drug plans, they are incenting employers to drop these plans and send their employees to the Medicare program; in other words, the government will no longer pay a portion of their costs…it will pay all of their costs."

Karl Rove, a senior aide to former President Bush and a Fox News contributor, also predicted that more companies will drop their retiree drug plans and "put the entire cost on the federal taxpayer."

"There's no incentive any longer for them to continue to have a cordial relationship with their retirees by continuing to pay most of the cost of their drugs," he told Fox News.

An Obama administration official did not respond to a request for comment on AT&T's announcement but the White House in the past has suggested that companies are exaggerating the impact of the loss because they oppose the new law.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Thursday that the tax law closed a loophole.

Under the 2003 Medicare prescription drug program, companies that provide prescription drug benefits for retirees have been able to receive subsidies covering 28 percent of eligible costs. But they could deduct the entire amount they spent on these drug benefits -- including the subsidies -- from their taxable income.

The new law allows companies to only deduct the 72 percent they spent.

The White House and Democratic leaders in Congress argue that under the old law, companies were in effect getting two deductions, not one, because they were able to deduct from the taxes they pay each year the amount of the subsidy the government was giving these companies to help them out.

AT&T also said Friday that it is looking into changing the health care benefits it offers because of the new law. Analysts say retirees could lose the prescription drug coverage provided by their former employers as a result of the overhaul.

Changes to benefits are unlikely to take effect immediately. Rather, the issue would most likely come up as part of contract negotiations between the company and unions representing its employees and retirees. AT&T is the largest private employer of union workers in the U.S.

Candice Johnson, spokeswoman for the Communications Workers of America, which represents more than 160,000 AT&T workers, said these employees have contracts in place until 2012. An agreement covering retirees also runs through 2012.

AT&T rival Verizon Communications Inc. was among 10 companies that sent a letter to congressional leaders in December warning that their costs would increase with the health care changes. Verizon spokesman Peter Thonis said the company had no comment.

Fox Business' Dunstan Prial, Fox News' James Rosen and The Associated Press contributed to this repot.

An interesting perspective -Stop Marxism!

A recent "Investor's Business Daily" article provided very interesting statistics from a survey by the United Nations International Health Organization.
Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis:
U.S. 65%
England 46%
Canada 42%
Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received treatment within six months:
U.S. 93%
England 15%
Canada 43%
Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six months:
U.S. 90%
England 15%
Canada 43%
Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within one month:
U.S. 77%
England 40%
Canada 43%
Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people:
U.S. 71
England 14
Canada 18
Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in "excellent health":
U.S. 12%
England 2%
Canada 6%
I don't know about you, but I don't want "Universal Healthcare" comparable to England or Canada.

The percentage of each past president's cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment to the cabinet. You know what the private business sector is... a real business, not a government job.

Here are the percentages:
T. Roosevelt........ 38%
Wilson .................52%
Coolidge.............. 48%
Hoover................. 42%
F. Roosevelt......... 50%
Eisenhower........... 57%
Kennedy.............. 30%
Nixon................... 53%
Ford..................... 42%
Carter.................. 32%
GH Bush................. 51%
Clinton ................. 39%
GW Bush................ 55%

The winner of the Chicken Dinner is:
Obama................ 8% !!!
Yep! That's right! Only Eight Percent!!!..the least by far of the last 19 presidents!! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business? They know what's best for GM...Chrysler... Wall Street... Healthcare... Unemployment... immigration... you... and me? No one is actually foolish enough to believe that are they?
How can the president of a major nation and society...the one with the most successful economic system in world history... stand and talk about business when he's never worked for one?.. or about jobs when he has never really had one??! And neither has 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers! They've spent most of their time in academia, government and/or non-profit jobs....or as "community organizers" when they should have been in an employment line.

The Left's war on America

The Left Wing Radicals (Democrats) are going to extreme measures to trounce our Constitution. The new Left Wing Leader with many similarities to the infamous Nazi Leader is pushing to take your freedom. Act now or else?
A terrific article below is by Ann Kane.

Written by Ann Kane
The leftist progressives continue to plot their strategies in a perpetual war of their own making. They are on stage mocking America because of the health care takeover, while they have financial institution reform and amnesty for illegal aliens waiting in the wings. News headlines and conservative pundits tell us the leftists drew a line in the sand when their puppet congressional representatives voted for health care reform. They have declared war on the American people. How will we respond?

Winston Churchill wrote about the reality of fighting for a just cause.

"Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no chance of victory, because it is better to perish, than to live as slaves."

Obama removed a bust of Churchill from the White House upon his arrival last year, and sent it back to England whence it came. Very chilling.

In our arsenal, we have many ways of counterattacking the left. States are throwing lawsuits at Obamacare; Republicans in congress are using every means possible to repeal the legislation; and private conservative citizens are working doggedly to put like minded candidates into office in the fall.

However, conservatives should not delude themselves into thinking that these responses alone will win this political war. According to David Horowitz in his booklet The Art of Political War for Tea Parties, we have to know our enemy because "defining the opposition is the decisive move in all political war." We must understand how the America haters do battle.

Just listen to what progressives/tyrants say. Remember, what they accuse conservatives of being, such as an angry mob, is who they are in reality. Since they are so radical, and hateful of the good in society, they have to project their ill will onto others. Hitler exemplified Freudian projection theory. In speaking to the Reichstag in Berlin in 1942 about his disdain for Churchill, Hitler in fact described himself.

"He is the most bloodthirsty or amateurish strategist in history...For over 5 years this man has been chasing around Europe like a madman in search of something that he could set on fire. The gift Mr. Churchill possesses, is the gift to lie with a pious expression on his face and to distort the truth...His abnormal state of mind can only be explained as symptomatic of a paralytic disease or of a drunkard's ravings."

We cannot wait until November, we cannot wait for the courts to take action, and we cannot wait for others to do the right thing. We must do the right thing now. We must know we are at war, and be willing to sacrifice ourselves for the good of our country.

Exempted From Obamacare: Senior Staff Who Wrote the Bill

By Ben Domenech
For as long as the political fight took over the past year, the abbreviated review process on the health care legislation currently pending on President Obama’s desk is unquestionably going to result in some surprises — as happens with any piece of mashed-up legislation — both for the congressmen who voted for it and for the American people.
One such surprise is found on page 158 of the legislation, which appears to create a carveout for senior staff members in the leadership offices and on congressional committees, essentially exempting those senior Democrat staffers who wrote the bill from being forced to purchase health care plans in the same way as other Americans.

A major story during the course of the health care debate was whether members of Congress would commit to placing themselves in the same health care exchanges as average citizens, or whether they would hang on to their government plans — that’s why leadership chose to add this portion to the bill, serving as a guarantee that members would participate in the same health plans as the people. Here’s the relevant text:

(i) REQUIREMENT- Notwithstanding any other provision of law, after the effective date of this subtitle, the only health plans that the Federal Government may make available to Members of Congress and congressional staff with respect to their service as a Member of Congress or congressional staff shall be health plans that are–
(I) created under this Act (or an amendment made by this Act); or
(II) offered through an Exchange established under this Act (or an amendment made by this Act).

But as with a lot of legislative matters, the devil is in the details — or in this case, the definitions. As anyone who’s worked on Capitol Hill knows, the personal office staff for a member is governed by different rules than those who work on committees and in the leadership offices. It appears from the way this language is written that those staffers NOT in personal offices, such as those working and paid under the committee structure (such as those working for Chairman Henry Waxman) or those working on leadership staff (such as those working for Speaker Nancy Pelosi) would be exempt from these requirements (emphasis added).

(ii) DEFINITIONS- In this section:

(I) MEMBER OF CONGRESS- The term `Member of Congress’ means any member of the House of Representatives or the Senate.
(II) CONGRESSIONAL STAFF- The term `congressional staff’ means all full-time and part-time employees employed by the official office of a Member of Congress, whether in Washington, DC or outside of Washington, DC.

According to the Congressional Research Service, this definition of staff will only apply to those staffers employed within a member’s “personal office” — meaning that it will absolutely not apply to committee staff members, and may not apply to leadership staff.

This problem was acknowledged earlier in the process — last year, Senator Grassley tried to repair it, but he was rebuffed.

As Speaker Pelosi said a few weeks ago, it’s only after this legislation is passed that we’ll truly find out what’s in it.

545 vs 300,000,000

This puts it all in perspective.

This is about as clear and easy to understand as it can be - read it!!

The article below is completely neutral, ...not anti republican or democrat.

Charlie Reese, a retired reporter for the Orlando Sentinel has hit the nail

Directly on the head, defining clearly who it is that in the final analysis must

Assume responsibility for the judgements made that impact each one of us every day.

It's a short but good read. Worth the time. Worth remembering!

545 vs. 300,000,000

Charley Reese has been a journalist for 49 years.

545 PEOPLE--By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them..

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits..... The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red ..

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power..

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees...

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

Charlie Reese is a former columnist of the Orlando Sentinel Newspaper.

What you do with this article now that you have read it......... Is up to you.

This might be funny if it weren't so darned true.

Be sure to read all the way to the end:

Tax his land,

Tax his bed,

Tax the table,

At which he's fed.

Tax his tractor,

Tax his mule,

Teach him taxes

Tax his work,

Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore.

Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in

Don't Be Intimidated By the Race Hustling Democrats

If Barack Obama really is a post-racial president, then why are so many liberals crying racism at those who criticize the president?
Why can't a White Person be able to voice their objection to a Marxist ideology being shoved down their throats without being called a Racist?
Why doesn't Obama or sotomayor ever suggest they are not Racist. They simply use Alinsky tactics and point out other racists.

ObamaCare is Tyranny

Stop Marxism highly recommends articles by Janice Shaw Crouse, like the one below. She is a breath of fresh air as she demonstrates how the Soetero Group is dead set on punishing America with Barry's radical ideology. These are very dangerous times. The average so-called American who cast thine vote for Barry has blood on their hands. I say this every day, about the Books by Dr. Corsi and David Fredosso, to name a few. There was so much information out there that Barry was out to punish America. You could have listened to his own words or those of his Radical wife or their RACIST Reverend.

By Janice Shaw Crouse
What we're seeing in Washington, D.C. is not "politics as usual" with the arm twisting and "horse-trading" that is typical in getting a bill passed; instead, it is ideological warfare. What Obama, Reid, and Pelosi are doing is not legislating; it is an act of tyranny -- overturning all the rules and principles of government in a representative democracy. Attempting to pass the Senate version of ObamaCare in the House under the ironically named "Slaughter Rule" (to circumvent the objections of the Stupak coalition to taxpayer funding of abortion) is an exercise in raw power akin to the many acts of judicial tyranny the American public has endured over the last forty years from judges who have little regard for the Constitution.

Apparently Obama, Reid, and Pelosi aren't worried about losing control of Congress in 2010 or even the presidency in 2012, because their higher goal is to irrevocably institutionalize their ideology. Once government control of health care is established, their leftist principles will be implemented by an unelected bureaucracy that rules without accountability to the general public, whether or not the Democratic Party is the majority in Congress or holds the presidency.

Obama, Reid, and Pelosi have learned nothing from history; they are as blind to their own tyranny as were King George and the British Parliament. They show no comprehension of the moral outrage that will ignite in this country if they ram through ObamaCare, a bill that requires taxpayer funding for abortion, usurps an individual's right to choose her own personal health care options, and saddles the nation with a growing flood of debt which will drown our children and grandchildren.

Last Friday morning, you could see workers beginning to set up barricades around the Capitol in preparation for the demonstrations they expect in response to the Democrats' autocratic actions. They mistakenly think that the Tea Party protests are temporary flareups that mere barricades can contain, but their legislative and executive tyranny is unleashing emotions that have the potential to rival the antislavery movement of the Civil War era and the Civil Rights protests of the 1960s. Having abandoned those transcendent moral principles upon which this nation was founded for a false ideology of their own imagining, these people have no understanding of the righteous fury that will build in this nation when her citizens see their government sanction morally reprehensible acts.

Leaders across the nation --- nearly half a million strong --- have already signed the Manhattan Declaration declaring that moral principles take precedence over laws that ignore the value of human life and individual freedom. These deeply-held religious beliefs are inviolable, non-negotiable, and protected under the U.S. Constitution. Thousands of America's Orthodox, Catholic, and evangelical Christian leaders have laid down a gauntlet: By reaffirming the fundamental truth that life and liberty come not from man-made laws, but from God, we have joined together "to defend the sanctity of life, the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife, and the rights of conscience and religious liberty."

We have, in good faith, expressed our objections and righteous indignation over and over again, only to be repeatedly rebuffed and ignored. Poll after poll demonstrates that U.S. citizens are strongly opposed to ObamaCare and its impact on our nation. Yet the Obama/Reid/Pelosi axis is determined to ignore the will of the people that they were elected to represent and to dictatorially impose on the nation their ideas of what's best. They have lived so long in the rarefied air of elitism that they think that the "masses" will simply accept their "superior wisdom." These unprecedented assaults on basic American principles compel Manhattan Declaration signers to forcefully mount a defense of human life, marriage, and religious freedom.

Manhattan Declaration-signers have said that civil disobedience is necessary when faced with gravely unjust laws requiring submission to other laws that violate our principled moral beliefs about abortion, marriage, and religious freedom. As the Manhattan Declaration states, "We will fully and ungrudgingly render to Caesar what is Caesar's. But under no circumstances will we render to Caesar what is God's."

Debra Burlingame of Keep America Safe

Another example of why Holder and Napolitano and Soetero need to go. To even think of holding these low-life Terrorists on trial IN AMERICA, is reason 101 to dump these clowns.
Yes, the fringe Main Stream Media will have you believe that these Attorneys who represent the Terrorists are doing it for their good nature. Wrong, many of these Attorneys are just Radical Leftist who want to punish America and give a playground to the Terrorists. My question for all the Nazi Liberals is "what if you lost a close family member in a Terrorist attack"?

The Cuba I Saw

The article below is eye opening. The way Cuba is, sounds very much like Obama Fantasy land. The lack of Medical supplies is something to dwell on as the Marxist Soetero Administration shoves their HealthCare through. Michael Moore and Penn are just self loathing Liberals who know they, themselves are horrible people and they think all white people are like them. Now is the time to voice your opinions to all Politicians. Let the Radical, Marxist Democrats know that we do not want their plan to destroy America.

By Megan Smith
Interested in seeing Barack Obama's dreams for the U.S. in real time? Pack some toilet paper, Tylenol, and towels. Then hop a plane to Cuba. Just ninety miles off Florida's coast, Obama's ideas are alive and kicking.

In fact, visiting Cuba today may be more meaningful than ever before. Touring the country of 11 million lets you see everything the far left "knows" is right, just, and good for all of us.

Step out at Havana's José Martí airport to throngs of Cubans. The people -- warm and welcoming -- meet friends and relatives at the airport. Hundreds wait for arrivals. Though the government boasts 3.4% unemployment, judging by airport greeters and others hanging around town, those stats are questionable.

Cuba has two currencies: the CUCs (Cuban Convertible Pesos, pronounced "kooks"), which buy the good stuff, and the Cuban peso: fairly worthless. Cubans are paid in pesos. Twenty-five pesos equal one CUC. It's nearly impossible to earn enough pesos to purchase the number of CUCs needed to buy better items. So Cuba's black market is thriving.

Billboards featuring Fidel and his murderous pal Che Guevara are everywhere.

"Vive la Revolución" and "Siempre la Revolución" signs abound, too. Never mind that the Revolution happened 51 years ago, or that Cuba's been trapped in a time warp and state of decay ever since. The Revolution was Castro's finest moment. And he will never let you forget it. There are no promos for anyone else...except Hugo Chávez. Advertising private enterprise is banned.

Cuba has a centralized government. People vote for municipal officials (neighborhood folks) every two and a half years to represent them in Congress. The Castros are never on a ballot. And, in the Obama spirit, Castro's ideas reign supreme regardless of needs or opinions.

In 1997, Fidel, born Catholic, allowed Pope John Paul into Cuba. Touched by his visit, the dictator rewrote the Constitution, reinstating religion. Lucky Castro rediscovered his roots; if not, no one could practice religion today. Cuba is all about Castro all the time.

Cuba is an antique car-collector's dream...except that Cubans aren't collecting 1940s and 1950s vehicles -- they're driving them. New cars? A few. But generally, oldies must do. Licenses? Interesting. Socialists say everyone's the same. So why link someone's status to license color? Brown plates, for example, signal a government VIP, blue an inspector-controlled vehicle.

Here's something on Obama's wish list: the civilian security system. In Cuba, it's called the Committee for the Defense of the Revolution, or the CDR. Billed initially as an extra security force, "a collective system of revolutionary vigilance," it puts at least one government spy in the neighborhood. And those spies monitor everything. Even an extra bag of groceries is suspect.

Obama's mandatory national service? Alive and well in Cuba. Eighteen-year-olds complete military or social service. (Many believe that this is additional indoctrination.) Those not attending higher education serve two years, while the rest serve only one. In this communal "utopia," there's plenty of discrimination.

Of course, there's free health care, which Cubans (and Michael Moore) are programmed to hype to Americans. They tell you that Fidel brought universal health care. Sounds terrific, right? All services free? Docs earning 250 pesos a month, yet working nonstop? What could be better?

Well...remember that Tylenol? It's a donation to Cuba. Cuba's health care has "minor" glitches like no medicines. There aren't over-the-counter or prescription drugs, vitamins, or supplies like diabetic strips. There's inferior training, doctor shortages, rationed care, and a lack of equipment. (A few years ago, Havana -- a city of 2 ½ million -- had only one MRI machine.) The hospitals are in terrible shape, and the system is economically draining. Actually, some with money might get better care, but they pay under the table.

Cuba boasts the ultimate jobs bill: Everyone's guaranteed work. Of course, it's government employment -- there is almost nothing else. Jobs pay about $250 a month, which won't cover basics. (Many Cubans rely on remittances from U.S. relations to survive.) There's no incentive, nothing really works -- try the toilets -- and innovation is squashed. The government dictates hours...they're long. A taxi driver I met works from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. most days but still can't make ends meet.

Fired for wrongdoing or company politics? It's over. No severance, no recommendation, and probably not another job. But hey, who's complaining? It's socialism and it's fair, even when it's not.

Government entitlements are plentiful, however. Each person, employed or not, gets the same "benefits," including that fabulous health coverage and a monthly ration book for food and more. Of course, nothing is sufficient, so everyone is deprived. But with handouts galore, many stay unemployed.

Cuba got a shot of financial reality when Russia stopped footing its bills in the '90s. Suddenly, to quote Margaret Thatcher, they'd "run out of other people's money." Castro added a tiny private sector, turning Cuba socialist instead of communist. Today, Cuba's entrepreneurs are artisans, in-home restaurateurs, and small shop owners. They are heavily taxed and highly regulated, but it's an improvement.

Of course, Cuba bans freedom of speech and the press, something Obama, Axelrod, Pelosi, Reid, and Durbin would celebrate. In fact, speak against the government and disappear: effective. Dissent is outlawed. (Obama and Pelosi, eat your hearts out.)

Obama would rejoice because Fox News is not in Cuba. In fact, only snippets from an Obama favorite -- CNN -- are aired for tourists. Cubans access five state-controlled channels -- everything is censored.

And the internet is controlled. (Obama wants this, too?) The higher-ups get some online privileges; others don't.

Remember the towels? They are giveaways, too. Towels are in short supply. And the toilet paper? Don't ask. Here's a famous Cuban saying: When there's a toilet paper shortage, you know the socialists are coming.

But what Cubans lack in towels and toilet paper, they have in Castro's long speeches. Before his illness, Castro often spoke incoherently for eight to twelve hours to crowds of 50,000. Luckily, he, like Obama and Axelrod, understood astroturfing. Castro "hired" audiences, paying them in food, money, jobs, and more to show up and cheer.

Washington will be pleased to know that there are few overweight Cubans. (No financial drain there.) Of course, it's because they lack food. (Only the elderly, sick, and kids under seven are allowed milk.)

Housing? When Fidel "spread the wealth" in the '50s and '60s, he seized vacated homes of the rich, who fled. In his uncorrupt and crony-less way, his friends were given good homes. Most others shared tight quarters (2,000-ish square feet) with about twelve more people. Same today, but buildings are crumbling. There's peeling paint, broken windows, and cracked doors everywhere. No money for repairs. But who's complaining? Housing is free!

It's almost impossible for Cubans to travel inside or outside their country. The government won't let them. It's easy to see why people risk their lives to escape to U.S. shores. Cuba is the world's largest prison.

So if Barack Obama and his DNC succeed in making their dreams for the United States a reality, here's some advice: Head to the grocery and stack up on toilet paper. Then hang on real tight -- it's going to be one rough ride.

Working in the oilfield with others such as myself and a wealth of combined experience we understand the accuracy of the following.

Think of it this way:

A clunker that travels 12,000 miles a year at 15 mpg uses 800
gallons of gas a year.

A vehicle that travels 12,000 miles a year at 25 mpg uses 480
gallons a year.

So, the average 'Cash for Clunkers' transaction will reduce US
gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per vehicle, per year.

They claim 700,000 vehicles so that's 224 million gallons saved per

That equates to a bit over 5 million barrels of oil.
5 million barrels is about 5 hours worth of US consumption.

More importantly, 5 million barrels of oil at $70 per barrel costs
about $350 million dollars. So, the government paid $3 Billion of
our tax dollars to save $350 million.

We spent $8.57 for every dollar we saved.

I'm pretty sure Congress will do a much better job with our health care, though.

Stop Marxism!
Stop Obamacare before it destroys your Country's future.

Heads Liberals Win, Tails We Lose

Below my comments here is an article by the brilliant David Limbaugh. He closes on how courageous Conservatives are for calling attention to unpleasant realities.
If you are a Conservative, you probably know about this. We are the ones called racist because we question this Administration as they tear apart our Constitution.
Yet all the liberals who attack White people are not called Racist? I mention this in past post about these Nazi Liberals. The Liberals like an O'Donnell or Penn or Barbra Boxer are enraged with themselves for their racism so they feel all white People think the same as them. However those of us that are Conservative do not base our reactions on Color but on substance and character.
Also, I did not see one Low-life Liberal putting up signs for Allen West at the last election. Instead they posted signs and support for Ron Klein, a do-nothing Democrat.
Please enjoy David Limbaugh's article. And let's thank Conservatives like Sarah Palin, Liz Cheney and Tom Tancredo for pointing out the absurd policies of the Left Wing radicals.

By David Limbaugh
The left habitually distorts and exaggerates to demonize and discredit its opponents but squeals like a stuck pig when conservatives use colorful language to call the left out. Unfortunately, some on the right encourage the left's squealing.

As for the liberals, it's hard to take them seriously when they register their indignation at, say, Sarah Palin for her "death panels" comment, other conservatives for describing Obama as a socialist or liberals as "liberals," or, most recently, Liz Cheney for calling seven Justice Department appointees the "al-Qaida Seven."

Liberals are the ones who knowingly lied in saying that "Bush lied; people died," that supply-side tax cuts are "just for the rich" and that Bush left people on the rooftops in New Orleans after Katrina because they were black. These weren't just harmless rhetorical barbs; they had and continue to have serious, substantively damaging consequences.

Nor are the above descriptions by Palin, Cheney and other conservatives a matter of tit for tat or a case of the left's wrong mitigating the right's. The conservatives' statements above are different because they have a strong ring of truth, and they are not just gratuitous; they serve the purpose of calling attention to what is truly going on.

I'm not advocating that we be uncivil or mean-spirited, but that we have the guts to tell the truth, using difficult-to-hear language when necessary. I dare say our failure to speak frankly and boldly has a lot to do with the horrible predicament we're in in this country. Speaking a little more truth to political correctness would be helpful. But the left's tactic of whining and crying foul at anything it chooses to be offended by, echoed by genteel enablers on the right, intimidates many from expressing truth for fear of public condemnation.

Many believe, after reading versions of Democratic health care plans, that powerful bureaucracies would be created that would have authority over the types of treatment health care providers would give, especially end-of-life decisions. Those bills also would grant wide rule-making authority to those and other bureaucracies, which, if this nation's past and current practice of administrative law is any indication, would be given wide berth and have little accountability to Congress, much less the people. Add to that the mindset of those Obama has surrounded himself with and who have had or will have their fingerprints on the drafting of these health care bills or on the regulations to be promulgated under Obamacare, such as Tom Daschle and Ezekiel Emanuel. They are known for ghoulish advocacy of government-administered rationing of care, especially to the elderly, driven by their creepy values regarding human life. Tell me, then, how it's unfair or inaccurate for Sarah Palin to have called attention to that with "death panels"?

The same is true for graphic photos of abortions, decried as grotesque by the left. They're grotesque, all right, because what they depict is abominably grotesque. We have not only the right to force ourselves to face this grim, unconscionable reality by viewing grotesque pictures, if necessary, but also the duty. By shielding ourselves from these pictures showing what actually goes on in abortions, we make it easier on ourselves to do the wrong thing.

The upshot is that hard-hitting conservatives are condemned for telling the truth, which serves the best interests of people and the nation, while liberals are given a pass for telling outright lies that damage the national interest. This is a great deal for liberals and a terrible deal for the nation and the people: Heads liberals win (and the nation loses), tails the nation loses.

The same holds true for describing Obama as a socialist. What's wrong with telling the truth, especially when candy-coating it enables Obama to operate under the radar? Are those on the right who condemned their fellow conservatives for calling attention to his radicalism early on, when it might have mattered, ever willing to hold themselves accountable for their error?

So when Liz Cheney dubs new additions to the Obama-Holder Justice Department the "al-Qaida Seven," I'm just not too exercised. As a lawyer who believes strongly in the adversarial system, I will defend the right of lawyers to represent whomever they want in our system.

But this isn't about the right of lawyers to defend unsympathetic clients. It's about placing lawyers in our Justice Department who might well be sympathetic to or soft on the enemy. And that's anything but far-fetched, given what we now know about Obama, his attitude about America's past and its alleged culpability in causing terrorism, the America-hating radicals he has appointed, and Eric Holder himself. Scrutiny is warranted.

Kudos to courageous conservatives for calling attention to unpleasant realities.

Low Life Tom Hanks slams our great Military

Here is another post on the despicable Hollywood Celebrities. These highly overpaid Anti-Americans are low lifes. I don't care to hear how nice Tom Skanks (Hanks) is anymore. He deliberately tried to bash our Troops as Racists. Hmmm, what about the Traitor at Fort Hood? Was he a Racist for being in the Military? Oh, wait he killed White and Hispanic Americans. That Traitor killed Americans because THEY WERE DIFFERENT. Sounds like he was the Racist in the Military. In the years I served I can not say we cared what color the Enemy was. They were the enemy, Tom Hanks! Wake up and leave our great Soldiers alone. The Anti-American Hollywood types have gone too far. Hollywood continues to make larger paychecks while our Troops and average Americans suffer pay cuts or joblessness. Let's dig deeper Mr. Tom Skanks. Your Democrat Party is chock full of Racists. All the anti-White sentiment from the likes of Garafolo, O'Donnell and Brokaw. Then you have the likes of Dan rather and his Fringe Media friends who are making Racist Statements. Let's go back in time Skanks and see the Slavery issue was abolished by Republicans. I will not give Hollywood a break! If you care about this Country and our fine Troops you should help politically destroy these Racist Democrats from Barry down to his followers like Hanks and his fellow low-lifes.

Tom Hanks on WWII: We wanted to annihilate the Japanese because they were “different”

By Allahpundit
Share on Facebook | printer-friendly Well, true enough. They were different, all right. In fact, some lucky GIs got to experience the difference firsthand.
If you were expecting an island-hopping reprise of “Band of Brothers” in this new miniseries, expect otherwise.
But the context for Hanks’ history lessons has changed. Band of Brothers, HBO’s best-selling DVD to date, began airing two days before 9/11; The Pacific, his new 10-hour epic about the Pacific theater in World War II, plays out against a very different backdrop, when the country is weary of war and American exceptionalism is a much tougher sell. World War II in the European theater was a case of massive armies arrayed against an unambiguous evil. The Pacific war was mainly fought by isolated groups of men and was overlaid by a sense that our foes were fundamentally different from us. In that sense, the war in the Pacific bears a closer relation to the complex war on terrorism the U.S. is waging now, making the new series a trickier prospect but one with potential for more depth and resonance. “Certainly, we wanted to honor U.S. bravery in The Pacific,” Hanks says. “But we also wanted to have people say, ‘We didn’t know our troops did that to Japanese people.’”…
And he is pleased that The Pacific has fulfilled an obligation to our World War II vets. He doesn’t see the series as simply eye-opening history. He hopes it offers Americans a chance to ponder the sacrifices of our current soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. “From the outset, we wanted to make people wonder how our troops can re-enter society in the first place,” Hanks says. “How could they just pick up their lives and get on with the rest of us? Back in World War II, we viewed the Japanese as ‘yellow, slant-eyed dogs’ that believed in different gods. They were out to kill us because our way of living was different. We, in turn, wanted to annihilate them because they were different. Does that sound familiar, by any chance, to what’s going on today?”
Quoth Big Hollywood editor John Nolte: “No matter how many times you read this passage the context is clear. By ‘different’ Hanks is clearly referring to race, culture and religion, not ideology.” Indeed. Is that what was driving FDR all those years — fear and loathing of the “brown people” or whatever? I thought it was the fact that they bombed us and then fought us relentlessly across the Pacific rather than surrender, but maybe I should tune in for The Truth. So screwy is his read, in fact, that I’m not sure it’s even fair to the Japanese: As I understand it, they hit Pearl Harbor not because “our way of living was different” but because they wanted the oil in the south Pacific and needed to neutralize the American fleet before they made their move. I’m also surprised to learn that whereas the Nazis were unambiguous evil, their strategic ally in the far east — whose imperial army utterly terrorized the civilian population of mainland Asia — was merely “different,” much as jihadists are now. That sure does help me get a handle on that Iraq election held a few days ago.
I assume prominent attention will be given in this thing to the bombings of Hiroshima and Tokyo, irrespective of whether they saved lives in the aggregate by shortening the war. Neo-Nazis like to play the same moral equivalence game by crying crocodile tears over the bombing of Dresden; there’s some extra historical context for you in case you choose to watch. Wish I had a clip of Hanks to offer, but this was a print interview, it seems. Is this bit from Bill Maher’s show of Spicoli apologizing for Hugo Chavez a decent substitute? I’ll bet he and Bill will find plenty to like in Hanks’s series.
Update: Here’s a nice related story: Evidently Matt Damon’s new Iraq flick is “one of the most egregiously anti-American movies ever released by a major studio.”

Penn Ultimate Lunacy

This post has a few points to be made. One, is these ludicrous Liberals who send me comments like "Obama is not racist". Hey Nazi liberals, do you know how to read??? Hussein Obama's book (in his own asinine words) has numerous examples of his hatred for White people and their blood. Then for him to sit with that lunatic Rev. Wrong Way Wright for 20 years says it all.

Now the article below points out how insane Sean Penn is. The apple does not fall far from the tree. His Dad was a huge sponsor for Hitler for some time. Another point is compare the start of Hitler's Political career with Barry's and it is scary. Why does the Fringe Media post Penn's, who has no credentials, comments on politics?
Again Hollywood celebs are some of the most despicable people in America. I can't say that enough. There are only a handful of good ones like the great Jon Voight but the majority are sick, Anti-Americans.

Below is a great article by Phil Boehmke
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt." -Abraham Lincoln.

Which brings us to Sean Penn. Recently during an appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher (who also does his very best to prove Lincoln's point) Red Leo's son gave us an impassioned defense of his dear friend Hugo Chavez. Sean, who appears to be polishing his resume' for the position of Hugo's Minister of Propaganda gave us this impartial critique of the media's coverage of President Chavez.

...every day, this elected leader is called a dictator here, and we just accept it! And accept it. And this is mainstream media, who should-truly, there should be a bar by which one goes to prison for these kinds of lies.

In the paradise that is Hugo Chavez' Venezuela those who criticize his dictatorial regime may have their broadcast licenses revoked. Obviously Mr. Penn has an even more radical appraoch - jailing dissidents.

If the United States treated dissent the same way that Mr. Penn recommends, he would have been locked up in a filthy prison cell many long years ago. Would President Chavez tolerate the kind of personal insults that Mr. Penn hurled at President George W. Bush? Would President Chavez allow Sean and his fellow travelers to protest the nation's war on terror?

Sean, before you move to Venezuela (which I wholeheartedly endorse) you may wish to check the legal code and find out what sort of penalties apply to those who viciously attack photographers.

Say what you will about Sean Penn's political views or violent hatred of the paparazzi, at least he is compassionate and forgiving man. Just a matter of days before his appearance on Real Time, Mr. Penn extended this special wish for his critics.

You know, do I hope that those people die screaming of rectal cancer? Yeah, you know, but I'm not going to spend a lot of energy on it.

Vote for Allen West

Our elections in Florida are just around the corner. Please check out Allen West, a real American Hero. We seem to have lost what is important to be classified a Hero in America. It is not those Radicals in the White House or the Anti-American celebrities from some Award show last night. A real Hero is a hard worker, Patriotic Man like Allen West.
Read below to see what Allen West is all about. You will not be disappointed unless you are Nazi Left Wing Liberal.

Regarding Senator Harry Reid’s comments

The revelation of Senator Harry Reid’s comments referencing “negro talk” is just indicative of the true sentiment elitist liberals, and indeed the Democratic party, have toward black Americans. The history of the Democrat party is one of slavery, secession, segregation, and now socialism. It is this new aged socialism born from the Johnson Great Society programs that have castigated blacks as victims needing government dependency. One need only to look upon the city of Detroit to ascertain what liberal social welfare policies have produced for the inner city… the new plantation for black Americans.

The Ku Klux Klan was birthed by the Democrats as a terrorist wing to intimidate blacks, and whites, who sought to promote economic and education independence and social justice for blacks. What was once overt has just morphed and become covert, yet still exists.

One can only imagine the insanity and media outrage if Reid’s quote had come from a member of the Republican party. I look forward to hearing from Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton on Reid’s comments… or has liberal hush money paid for the silence of these proprietors of poverty and victimization theory. Actually, if President Obama had any courage he would demand Reid step down as Senate Majority Leader, and discontinue any support for his Senate reelection… notice I said “if”. I am quite sure the Soros money which elevated Obama to the position of President has bought his servitude.

Why am I running for US Congress as a Republican? Simple. I would rather stand proudly and be called “an Uncle Tom and a sellout” than lose my self-esteem and be considered an inferior by liberals. I understand the legacy of the GOP and the black community… not the revisionist history espoused by liberal educators. I am not, shall never be, and will not raise my daughters to be a part of the liberal 21st century plantation. I am not just some articulate, clean, well spoken negro. I am an American warrior, Congressional candidate, and shall never submit to the collective progressive ideal of inferiority.

Senator Harry Reid’s comments are disgusting, despicable, and unacceptable. They are representative of how intellectual elite liberals do indeed speak of black Americans in their closed private spaces. Next week I have been invited to NYC to address the Hudson Institute, a conservative organization, conference on “Reclaiming American Liberty”. That invite came to me because I took advantage of the opportunities this great Republic offered. I followed the guidance of my parents and set my standards above all others around me. I speak well and have impeccable communicative skills because my Father and Mother prioritized that quality.

I shiver to think what my future could have been if I listened to the insidious rhetoric of charlatans such as Harry Reid, and the ambassadors of affirmative action who reside in the Congressional Black Caucus. Sure, the “stuck on stupid” blacks are going to address me in derogatory names, but I possess something which they lack; Honor, Integrity, and Character. To them I say, continue to be slaves to the liberals for your vote… and in a year you will be calling me Congressman West.

Steadfast and Loyal,

Barack Hussein Obama: I Told You So – Yes I Did

Regarding Nobama, I knew he was a Marxist before the election. I couldn't believe that these people voting for him never took the time to see who this man really was. With so much information on this guy, in his own Racist, Radical words, and 52% of America still wanted this guy. Now he leads us down the path of destruction, thanks Liberals!
Most of this post below is by the great Howard Galganov.

By Howard Galganov
When Obama won the Presidency with the help of the LEFTIST Media, Hollywood And Entertainment Liberals, Ethnic Socialists (ACORN), Stupid Non-Business Professionals and Bush Haters, I wrote: It won't take six months until the People figure this guy out and realize how horrible a mistake they've made. And when they come to that realization, the damage to the United States of America will be so great it will take a generation or more to repair - IF EVER.

The IDIOTS who not only voted for the Messiah, but also worked [hard] to promote his Lordship, are now left holding the bag.

Here are two things they will NEVER do: They will NEVER admit to making a Blunder out of all proportion by electing a snake-oil salesman with no Positive social history or management experience of any kind. They will NEVER take responsibility for the curse they've imposed upon the immediate and long-term future of their country.

In essence, the people responsible for putting this horror show in power are themselves responsible for every cataclysmic decision he makes and the Consequences thereof.

In just six months, the Messiah's polls are showing the following: On Healthcare Reform - He's going under for the third time with polling well Under 50 percent, even within his own Party. Even though he might be able to Muscle a Healthcare Reform Bill by using Chicago BULLY tactics against his Fellow Democrats, it will just make things worse. On Cap and Trade (Cap and Tax) - The Fat-Lady is already singing. On the Stimulus Package (Tax and Spend) - His popularity is in FREE-FALL. On the TARP package he took and ran With from President Bush -It's all but Good-Night Irene. On the closing of GITMO and "HIS" war on what he no longer wants called the War On Terrorism - He's standing in quicksand with his head just about to go under. On a Comparison between himself and George W Bush at the same six months i nto Their respective first term Presidencies - Bush is ahead of him in the Polls On a comparison between He Who Walks On Water and the 12 preceding Presidents between WW II and now - Obama ranks 10th. On a Poll just Conducted, that asks who would you vote for today between Obama and Mitt Romney - It's a dead heat. Between Obama and Palin - Obama's ONLY ahead by 8 Points and she hasn't even begun to campaign. It seems to me that Obama Wants to be everywhere where he shouldn't be.

He's personally invested in [totally insulting] America 's ONLY REAL Middle Eastern ally ( Israel ) in favor of Palestinian Despots and Murderers. He's traveling the world apologizing for the USA while lecturing others on how to do it right, when in fact and truth he has no experience at doing anything other than getting elected.

He went to the Moslem world in Egypt to declare that America IS NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION while he heaped praises on Islam, where he compared the "plight" of the Palestinians to the Holocaust.

The Russians think he's a putz, The French think he's rude.

The Germans want him to stop spending.

The Indians want him to mix his nose out of their environmental business.

The North Koreans think he's a joke, The Iranians won't acknowledge his calls.

And the British can't even come up with a comprehensive opinion of him.

As for the Chinese, he's too frightened to even glance their way. [After All, China now owns a large portion of the United States ..]

Maybe if America 's first Emperor would stay home more, travel less, and work A little bit instead of being on television just about everyday (or forget About his Wednesday Date Nights with his Amazon Wife) or stop running to "papered" Town Hall Meetings, perhaps he would have a little bit of time to Do the work of the nation.

In all fairness, it wasn't HARD to be RIGHT in my prediction concerning Obama's presidency, even in its first six months, so I'm going to make yet another prediction:

OBAMA WILL PROBABLY NOT FINISH HIS 4-YEAR TERM, at least not in a Conventional way.

He is such a political HORROR SHOW, and so detrimental to the USA and his Own Democratic Party, that the Democrats themselves will either FORCE him to Resign or figure out a way to have him thrown out.

Who knows, maybe he really isn't a BORN US Citizen and that's a way the Democrats will be able to get rid of him. [He is a citizen, but not a naturalized citizen with both mother and father being US citizens.]

I don't believe the Democrats have nearly as much love for their country as they do for their own political fortunes. And with Obama, their fortunes are rapidly becoming toast.

The Democrats can keep on blaming Bush for everything, but that game's already begun to wear real thin.

Their mantra was "WE DON'T WANT 4 MORE YEARS," which the STUPID people bought, since McCain was nothing at all like George W. Bush.

The new mantra will soon become: "WE DON'T WANT 6 MORE MONTHS."

but because of the people who don't do anything about it"

NObama's Government without Love

Stuart Schwartz writes an article below on Nobama and his relationship with America. It is nice to see someone at an University who is not brainwashed by the Left Wing Nazis. Points are made and we really have to look at the hate Nobama has for America. He desperately wants to crush Capitalism! Let's stop the Marxism and get some new blood in the White House (Politically speaking) before our Country is lost for good.

By Stuart Schwartz
God made it official through Paul, the first century rabbi who dabbled in community organizing, that "love is more important than anything else." The Doobie Brothers (neither rabbis nor community organizers) rephrased it for the modern age: "Without love, where would you be now, without love?"

This question was answered by Barack Obama and Democratic Party leadership as they sat around the Blair House banquet table at the health care summit this past Thursday, determined to push and pull a protesting citizenry into a loveless future.

Welcome to the United States of Obama. Without love, this is where we are now.

Gone is the love of the founders for individuals "endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights." It has been replaced by the derision of a political and media elite -- David Brooks of the New York Times proudly calls this the "intellectual class" -- determined to control every part of the lives of those they judge "too dumb" (Time magazine) to be allowed choice.

Forget the God talk and the founder mumbo-jumbo about individual worth, Obama and friends say. We need to take charge of the "dodos." The Communist Chinese have it right, New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman writes wistfully, in ruling "from the top down."

Obama and the Democrats must take control of our citizens, the Times urged after the summit, and ignore widespread opposition. Citizens need to know their place, and their place is to do what the intellectual class says.

Arrogance? No, it is just an emerging order of privilege, largely liberal and Democratic, in which elites live by a different set of rules. Case in point: Federal and city tax dollars went to build a New York Times headquarters that had a restrictive lease that the Village Voice described as "'Times' to Commoners: Go Elsewhere." Meanwhile, Congress exempts its own from Obamacare.

And so choice is no longer to be an option in health and medical services. As the Blair House summit showed, Obama and congressional leaders relentlessly continue to push government control over individuals, all the while adding to their personal power and wealth through confiscatory taxes and regulation.

Without love, the average citizen is biodegradable fuel for the lifestyles of the elite and powerful. And it is why an 86-year-old New Jersey senator gets life-saving cancer surgery to be denied under the proposed Obamacare rules for the rest of us. And once Obamacare is established, he would still get the surgery -- while a senior not in Congress will not.

Listen up, people, they say: The senator may be old, but he is one of us. And you -- you're just old, of no "instrumental value," as the president's Ivy League social engineers put it. Don't let the coffin lid hit you on the way out.

No love for the sheep. Our elite shepherds have developed a taste for rack of lamb and use our taxes to buy the mint jelly. The Democratic contribution to the Ritual Decalogue of Judeo-Christian tradition: Thou shalt cook a goat in the mother's milk.

The Obamacare summit showcased rationing for those officially proclaimed less desirable, increased taxes, and vast new federal bureaucracies. Obamacare will create 400,000 new jobs "almost immediately," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi crowed.

And buried in the 2,400 pages a Virginia Republican put on the banquet table are the details: thousands of new clinical and abortion centers staffed by ACORN-like community and union activists hired by Democrat-affiliated groups to stand between patients and doctors. Health care, brought to you by some of the same folks who gave you taxpayer-funded child prostitution.

And so the nine-year-old son of the golfing partner of President Obama is cut while surfing in Hawaii and is immediately rushed to the hospital at taxpayer expense. But in Chicago, low-income children are turned away from the University of Chicago hospitals. They are forced to take public transportation to other hospitals as the result of a scheme by hospital executives to "cherry-pick wealthy patients over poor," as the the American College of Emergency Physicians put it.

The executives behind the scheme to "redirect" the poor and unconnected: Michelle Obama and Obama senior adviser David Axelrod during their pre-White House years. Don't let the emergency room door hit you on the way out.

Love is a great affection and liking displayed in respect for the God-given rights of individuals, said the nation's founders. But without love, the Boston Herald noted, the Blair House was a "summit of arrogance." We love us, not you. Consequently, there is one set of rules for us, another for you.

Without love...Nancy Pelosi takes the hard-earned dollars of citizens and uses the military "as a multi-billion dollar chauffeur- and baby-sitting service." At the same time, she pushes through environmental exemptions for the California wineries owned by her wealthy family and friends while leaving 35,000 farmers and laborers in central California out of work because the federal government has restricted the water for farming at the request of wealthy environmental groups.

There is no love in Washington for ordinary citizens. Barack Obama tells Americans to "prioritize, make tough choices" about what to spend in these hard economic times. Meanwhile, he is the first president to have the taxpayers fund a "steady stream" of celebrity chefs to satisfy the first couple's "well-documented high-end appetites" and serve $100-a-pound gourmet beef at casual dinners and parties.

This is a government that believes it has outgrown the vision of Jefferson and Madison and the other founders of a nation based upon a love of individuals "endowed by their Creator." It is a government of privilege, bolstered by media elites -- on both the right and left -- convinced that the average American is "Too Dumb to Thrive," as the Time headline put it.

The New York Times puts it this way: "Dumb and Dumber: Are Americans Hostile to Knowledge?" And then its reporter answered, of course -- citizens "are ignorant."

Tea party, anyone?

DeMint Commends Bunning's Stand for Taxpayers

Senator Jim DeMint sounds off to the barrage of Left Wingers attacking the great Sen. Jim Bunning (R-Ky.). Senator Bunning has courage and principles, something most Democrats know nothing about. The fringe left wing Media went to town on Sen. Bunning, attacking his age, etc. The left made crude remarks about Sen. Bunning being a former Professional Baseball Player.
The Left does not realize that you don't get to be a Professional Baseball Player because of skin color. Something that propelled the Left's Messiah to become President. I have to say it again that there is no way Barry Soetero would be President had he the skin color of White. Not with Soetero's thug friends and Radical behavior.

NAACP Image Award Reaches New Low

Lloyd Marcus writes an excellent article below. I know it is tough for him being surrounded by Liberals. Although Mr. Marcus stays strong and stay Conservative.
I love how he points out the rhetoric of Obama complaining about all the Racism. As far as I am concerned the most Racist statements and actions continue to come out of the Democrat Party, especially from Soetero and his wife.

I was there in Washington, D.C. with my dad when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. I was a little boy. Highlights I remember are yellow school buses parked as far as I could see, MLK's speech, and black actress Lena Horne's electrifying one-word speech. Horn approached the podium and simply screamed the word "FREEDOM!" holding it for a long time. The crowd of 250,000 plus went wild with laughter and applause.

I also remember how certain ideas in MLK's speech struck powerful chords in my young heart and mind. "People should be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin ... little black boys and girls and little white boys and girls holding hands in brotherhood."

Recently, my dad, now 80, reminded me of something I said that day which touched him. Dad said that I asked him why we were there. He responded, "To get our freedom." He purchased a "Freedom" button for me. I said, "Dad, I'm not gonna take this button off until we get our freedom."

I do not remember that day at the 1963 March on Washington feeling in any way hatred for whites or America. How did MLK's Civil Rights Movement and the NAACP take such a drastic turn in the wrong direction?

As a black conservative, I am often called a traitor to my race. I submit that the true traitors are the race profiteers: liberals and socialists who have hijacked Dr. King's movement, shattered his dream, and betrayed his legacy.

Quite frankly, the NAACP is a disgrace. When President Obama spoke at an NAACP event, the audience erupted in wild applause when Obama said that blacks are still suffering from racism in America. Thank you, Mr. Great Unifier. Why was the NAACP audience so excited about maintaining victim status? Why did they want to believe the lie that race-relations in America have not changed much since the 1950s?

Yes, as long as there are humans, there will be some prejudice and discrimination. But racism is not a problem for blacks in America today. America is the greatest land of opportunity on the planet for all who choose to go for it. Why are so many people willing to risk everything to get to our shores, attempting the journey on cardboard rafts held together with crazy glue and duct tape?

Dr. King's once-great NAACP has become a negative, shameful tool of the left: overseers committed to keeping their fellow blacks dependent and subservient to the Democrat party.

Including once-self-proclaimed Communist Van Jones among the honorees at this year's NAACP Image Award show last night epitomizes the organization's descent into liberal Hades. Jones was forced to resign as the Obama administration's green czar due to his radical, far-left ideas, which include believing the Bush administration blew up the towers on 9/11. Jones has spouted extremely vicious and vulgar comments about political opponents. NAACP President Benjamin Todd Jealous called Jones "an American treasure." Is Jones the "image" that the NAACP wishes to present to young black America while treating black U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and black former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice like dirt? Utterly outrageous and shameful.

Remember this classic commercial? As a car drives down the highway, trash is thrown from the window, littering the landscape. The camera cuts to the face of an American Indian. A tear rolls down his cheek. Imagine the face being that of MLK. A tear rolls down his cheek upon seeing what has happened to his inspired movement and his dream of brotherhood.

As for Dr. King's dream of a day when people would be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin, the NAACP functions in quite the opposite way. The organization views everything from a racial prospective, and race trumps everything except conservatism. A black choosing to embrace conservatism is the only sin the NAACP considers unforgivable. Thus, their disdain for self-reliant, independent-minded, patriotic blacks.

If the NAACP deems Van Jones worthy of their Image Award this year, then surely the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, famous for his "God d--- America" comment, is a strong candidate for the prestigious award next year.

Selecting Van Jones to receive their award was truly a new low for the NAACP. To quote Rush Limbaugh, the organization should be titled the NAALCP, National Association for the Advancement of Liberal Colored People.

I am president of a new organization: the NAACPC, the National Association for the Advancement of Conservative People of all Colors. If he were alive today, the man I remember as being bigger than life, whose words touched and inspired me as a child at the 1963 March on Washington, would surely become a proud member. With a smile of brotherhood and open arms, I cordially invite all of you to join our cause. NAACPC.com.

As my patriot brother Lee Greenwood so eloquently proclaimed in his classic song, "I am proud [and extremely grateful] to be an American!"
