America faces many enemies both foreign and domestic, but one of the most dangerous and hidden of these is our growing national debt. In the coming months Congress will begin debate over raising the debt ceiling. We need your help to focus the debate on fiscal responsibility in order to protect America’s future.
Raising the debt ceiling is an unfortunate necessity to prevent the nation from defaulting on our loans. Since 1996 the debt ceiling has been raised 11 times without a real commitment to spending control. This time must be different.
America cannot afford to keep maxing out our national credit card!
We applaud the Speaker of the House John Boehner for his stand against raising the debt ceiling without other responsible action to be taken to cut spending.
The American people will not stand for such an increase unless it is accompanied by meaningful action by the President and Congress to cut spending and end the job-killing spending binge in Washington, while America cannot default on its debt, we also cannot continue to borrow recklessly, dig ourselves deeper into this hole, and mortgage the future of our children and grandchildren.

We must demand President Obama and Democrats make substantial cuts to the end reckless federal spending. Since President Obama’s rise to power he has made many promises to limit spending and control our nation’s debt. Instead, he has spent trillions of dollars on failed stimulus packages, and passed the disastrous and unconstitutional takeover of America’s healthcare system. President Obama has broken his promise again and again.
Reckless federal spending in Washington must be stopped. If President Obama and Democrats in Congress had their way we would continue his spending spree. Now that conservatives hold the majority in the House we must force President Obama to control federal spending.
