What do I know?

When I was a youngster, I loved surprises. Now in my senior years, I find surprises very stressful. Especially when there's a bill in my mail box from my doctor, after having met my payment obligation via my HMO, because what once was included in Medicare, no longer is.

Is everyone aware of the significance of seven hundred sixteen billion dollars? That's the amount President Obama skimmed off Medicare to finance his budget busting health plan, known as ObamaCare. Some services are no longer provided under Medicare HMO providers, because the money is no longer there, so it can enable ObamaCare to cover those who are not qualified to reach any kind of criteria, including other than American citizens.

Because the President's first two years was concentrated on passing this budget busting health plan; everything else vital to the rest of the economy has suffered.

Adding to the astronomical debt in order to garner votes, is wanting to finance and protect the indiscretions of irresponsible bird brain co-eds.

There is a correlation between the deterioration of buying power. It's the President's policies that have caused a domino effect on lower income, job loss, higher food and gas prices, soaring health care premiums, bankruptcies, foreclosures, etc. President Obama's strategy is to instigate class, gender and racial divide. It has been a proven factor for tyrants to maintain power.

Without concrete plans, or defense of his administration's, ineffective policies, to counter Governor Mitt Romney's spelled out agenda at the October 3rd debate, it appeared that if the President had a tail, it would have been between his legs. Contrary to liberal denial, lowering taxes will create jobs and with more people working, more spending will occur, creating consumer, not government stimulus, increasing revenue. Not to mention, with more people off unemployment payoffs and food stamps, millions of dollars will be saved. But, what do I know? I'm too busy living life, not like government Ph.D. task forces just studying it!

OBAMA, Friend to Israel? I don’t think so!

Among American Jews in general but among South Florida’s Jewish population in particular, there is widely divided opinion on the question of whether or not President Obama is a friend to Israel.

While centuries old Jew-hating peoples concentrated mostly in Central Europe, invariably attribute a solidarity mindset to Jews worldwide, that is a fallacy and is far from the truth. When it comes to the question at hand, we find there are two distinct and widely separated viewpoints regarding the relationship between this President and Israel. Israel and America’s Jewish population are often considered as one entity. Of course, that is always proven to be a mistaken idea.

One segment of the American Jewish population considers their own fate and that of Israel to be integral to each other and morally binding, ‘til death do us part’. To members of this persuasion, Israel and its issues are at the top of their prioritized concerns.

The other segment considers themselves somewhat more remotely-related to Israel except for the common religion and cultural heritage they share. Those who are more comfortable in the company of this second group willingly acknowledge their rich cultural association with the Jews in Israel . And for the most part, they are quick to tout their love of the land of Israel. The difference is, they subscribe to a more globalistic view in which for them, Middle East politics take on the dominant role. The latter is the ‘progressive’ position of the group calling themselves, “J Street”.

No one disputes the right of an American Jew to think as he or she will regarding the State of Israel. Everyone is free to express their own feelings about Israel’s unique relationship to the United States . Or, their views about that tiny nation’s precarious position in the deadly chess game being played out daily in the Middle East.

After choosing sides and staking out one’s comfort zone, it is inevitable that the final judgment regarding Obama’s true feelings about Israel boils down to – ‘Is Obama a friend to Israel, or not?’ Given his unspeakable treatment of PM Netanyahu and his track record of pinching off military and diplomatic support at every opportunity over the past four years, plus, his snide remarks to foreign officials when he thinks he is out of earshot - the answer is a resounding ‘NO’. Obama is not a friend to Israel. Does anyone seriously think that would change with a green light to four more years? Not me. I don’t think so.

Where’s The Outrage?

I’m totally frustrated at the so-called leadership of this country.

This is the 11^th anniversary of the most costly attack on our sovereignty in this nation’s history and apparently with few exceptions, our elected representatives are hiding under their desks counting their campaign funds and votes.  Where’s the outrage?

TV coverage is full of talking heads relating the details of that event and touting acts of heroism and personal courage but, where is the outrage at the perpetrators?  Where are the spokesmen for this Administration and spokesmen from the Congress, talking about the span of eleven years since that disgusting attack on our people and property and what retaliatory measures have been taken?  I’ve heard none.

Other than Obama taking undeserved  personal credit for dispatching Bin Laden, where is there anything coming from this overbloated government that purports to be retaliation for this egregious crime against our humanity?  Is a half-hearted effort to withhold some of the aid and comfort given to Iran really expected to get those bastards to stop preparing to blow Israel off the map?  Are such meaningless sanctions intended to show the strength and will of this Administration?  Does anyone care if we here in the USA are being put at such risk?  It is shameful that our elected officials are looking the other way.    

What is proven beyond all doubt by this dereliction of duty on the part of Obama and his radical Islamist followers, is that there is a genuine hatred for this country and our allies that emanates from the President’s desk in the Oval Office of the People’s House, The White House.  It is blatant and it is obscene.

Where is the outrage?  Is Harry Reid outraged?  Is Nancy Pelosi outraged?  Is anyone on the Joint Chiefs of Staff outraged?  Is anyone at the CIA outraged?  Is anyone in the FBI outraged?  Is anyone at the NSA outraged?  And most egregious and truly treasonous - - is anyone in the mainstream media outraged? The media is complicit in the avoidance of coverage of the real danger we are in.  The Fourth Estate is a huge part of the problem.  Where is the outrage?  Where is the courage?  Where are the people with balls?  Where are the Americans who will stand up and stop this idiocy?  Where are the veterans organizations who will shout and scream about the terrible danger in which this administration has placed our best and brightest in our military?  Who is concerned about these people except their families and friends? 

Where are our representatives in Congress and at the Supreme Court.  Is everyone so isolated, so politically correct, so self-centered and so cowardly that we have no one to express the outrage?  Meanwhile, the Dept. of Homeland Security (what a misnomer) is stocking up on hollow-point ammo – for target practice of course.  Who could imagine that they are preparing to maintain civil order against those extremist Patriots who have the temerity to band together in Tea Party groups all across this country, in protest against this tyrannical president and his Socialist, Communist, Marxist clan of anti-Americans

Again I ask:       WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?
