Shocking video reveals prison inmates carrying guns, take drugs, drink beer and even hanging out in the city centre of New Orleans

Prisoners have been filmed drinking beer, using drugs and even brandishing a loaded handgun in shocking video footage taken at a New Orleans jail.
The film from Orleans Parish Prison was revealed on the second day of a federal hearing on plans to refurbish and improve the jail.
One expert told the court that the video showed the most dysfunctional prison regime he had seen

Manny Romero, a prison consultant said the nature of the contraband on show suggests prison staff may have brought it in for inmates, WDSU reports.

Lawyers for the local sheriff's department said the footage was filmed four years ago.
The film was shown to the court as part of a hearing to determine whether a federal consent decree is warranted to reform the jail, according to the New York Times. One of the videos even seems to show prisoners relaxing in the city's Bourbon Street at night.
The footage also showed prisoners injecting drugs with one even holding a loaded handgun - raising questions over how the contraband got into the jail.
Prisoners also complained about overcrowding in one of the videos with one inmate saying 'we need help New Orleans.'

Mayor Mitch Landrieu called the videos 'outrageous' and called on federal officials to put the jail into receivership, the New York Times reports.

A hearing to discuss financial issues is due to be held in May even if the consent decree is approved.
The United States Department of Justice found the jail to be riven with violence and even sexual assaults last year.
It brought a class suit action on behalf of inmates - together with the Southern Poverty Law Center - against Sheriff Marlin N. Gusman of Orleans Parish, who runs the jail, according to the Times.

An agreement to make changes to the jail was reached between the sides in December and, if ratified by a district judge, it would become a 'consent decree', and therefore legally binding - but the city is unhappy about picking up its part of the potential costs.

Chicago saw a wave of violent mob attacks against its residents last year, most often led by youth from the city's poorer neighborhoods, and conducted in the city's wealthier neighborhoods as the spring temperatures rose. Saturday, the warmest day of 2013, indicates the city may be heading in the same direction as 2012.

Hundreds of teens descended on Chicago's Gold Coast and Magnificent Mile around 6:00 p.m. "purposely bumping into people" and fighting among themselves. The events later lead to 28 arrests, 25 of which were of minors, with charges ranging from battery to strong-armed robbery and reckless behavior.

A witness told CBS News Chicago:
“You had a group of teens, close to maybe 500. They assaulted a Chicago police officer that was on a mounted on a horse and all of a sudden they assaulted a citizen walking the streets, just a normal citizen shopping and enjoying the weather,” said Holmes.

A man was attacked around 10:45 p.m. while walking near Chicago and Dearborn. Sources tell us he was jumped and punched in the face by a group of teens. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
In a separate incident, a group of woman say they were attacked by a mob of girls on the CTA Red Line. The women reported a robbery once they got off the train at the State and Monroe station. Eleven females were arrested—10 juveniles and one adult—and charged with battery. Two of the teens were charged with strong-armed robbery.

The pastor at the Washington, D.C. church where the Obama family celebrated Easter on Sunday said members of the religious right want blacks “in the back of the bus,” women “back in the kitchen” and immigrants “back on their side of the border.”

Black Principal Promotes Tutoring for Colored Only Students


Andre Pearson is the principal of Mission Viejo Elementary School in Aurora, Colorado. In an effort to help students struggling with various subjects, he started an after school tutoring program. Like any good principal, Pearson sent a letter home to parents to inform them of the new tutoring program.

Unlike most principals, Pearson’s letter contained a bold statement of racial discrimination, only this time it discriminated against white students. On the first line of the letter, it stated that the tutoring program was for ‘Students of Color.’ By the way, Pearson is black.

When the letter hit the homes of a number of white parents, they became upset, offended and outraged. One such parent, Nicole Cox, whose daughter could use the tutoring, told the local news:

“I was infuriated. I didn’t understand why they would include or exclude certain groups. We have come so far in all of these years to show everybody that everyone is equal, that everyone should be treated equally … this is a form of bullying.”

Before she could complain to the school, Cox received a voice message from Pearson, explaining the program, but his message only added fuel to the fire. His message stated:

“This is Andre Pearson. It’s focused for and designed for children of color, but certainly, if we have space for other kids who have needs, we can definitely meet those needs.”

He admits that the program was designed for non-white kids, but to make things worse, he said that IF they have space for other kids, then they will meet those needs. So what are parents like Nicole Cox supposed to do if they don’t have space for other kids?

If a white principal sent out a letter stating that the tutoring program was for all students except those of color, you’d find Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson camped on his front door hollering racial discrimination and demanding he be fired. They would be talking to every news station between Denver to Washington, villainizing the white principal. But where are all of the people like Sharpton and Jackson who are fighting against discrimination of any kind? Who is shouting to the media that this black principal is discriminating against white students?

When any discrimination is even just perceived against a black person, the radical racists come out of the woodwork like ants at a picnic. But when it is a black that is discriminating against whites, it may hit the local news with a few angry white parents, but it soon dies and goes away. Hardly anyone outside the Aurora area will even hear about it.

Such is the inequality of American society.

Miami Dade County Police say two heavily armed men fatally shot a homeowner, a real hero, as he tried to protect his precious daughter during a home invasion from these two obama supporters, aka disgusting Home Invader.

The incident happened late Tuesday night in Miami., Florida The father, identified as Maurice Harris, 36, got into a struggle with the suspects when they tried to gain entry into his 11-year-old daughter's bedroom, police told FoxNews.com. The father was fatally shot in the struggle.

There were no other reports of injuries. The suspects, aka Obama Voters, aka Home Invasion scumbags, were described as black males.

Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes said it appears the men were trying to rob the home.
"We call these two men beasts. These men are beasts," Reyes told the Miami Herald. "They storm inside the house. A little girl was asleep when she was surprised by the gunfire. The father was just trying to protect her."

Annie Streeter, the victim's mother-in-law, said the men held Harris' wife at gunpoint during the invasion. Relatives said that's when Harris fought back and kept the intruders from entering the room of his 11-year-old daughter.
"One of the guys tried to get to his daughter's room, he jumped up and they were fighting back and forth," Streeter told WSVN.com. "I guess that's when the gun went off."

Neighbors are hailing Harris a hero. "Unfortunately, he died but he's super dad," Terry Jones told the station. "I hope I have that much courage if something like that would've happened to me."
