First there was "Operation Fast and Furious," when the ATF, Justice department and
other agencies who might have had a hand in it, was responsible for the murders of
border patrol agent Brian Terry and U.S. immigration agent Jaimi Zapata, because of
a gun smuggling operation gone sour.

Then there was the terrorist attack on our consulate in Benghazi that killed Ambassador
Christopher Stevens, security personnel Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods and former navy
seal Glen Doherty, victims of the administration ignoring their call for more security and
help. As the attack was going down, President Obama devoted a fifteen minute conversa-
tion with defense secretary Leon Panetta before heading off to Las Vegas for a fund raiser,
with no follow up.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was AWOL and nobody knew where she was. Nobody
seems to know who sent out U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to all the Sunday morning talk
shows, to blame Mark Basseley Youssef's amateur film, "Innocence of Muslims" for a mob
attack on the consulate.

At a congressional hearing to get answers for this screw-up, Hillary's remark about the four
dead Americans was, "What difference does it make at this point?" In other words, we're
shutting the barn now, why keep beating a dead horse?

The Obama administration's latest screw up, to put fear in the public, is what the consequences
of sequestration will have on the budget by having the Department of Homeland Security release
thousands of criminal illegals under federal custody. Both the White House and DHS head Janet
Napolitano deny they gave the order or knew about the release.. It certainly wasn't the governor
of Arizona, Janice Brewer.

Who is responsible for all this irresponsibility? There seems to be a lot of Sergeant Schultz
staffers in Obama's key positions, "I KNOW NOTHING, I HEAR OR SEE NOTHING!"

Does anyone in this administration know anything?

Without trying to sound redundant, the Obama government has to be the most disingenuous and
dishonest one in our life time, that we are destine endure for the next four years, and its re-
percussion far into the future.

The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent events in Syria and have therefore raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." The English have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies nearly ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to "A Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was in 1588, when threatened by the Spanish Armada.

The Scots have raised their threat level from "Pissed Off" to "Let's get the Bastards." They don't have any other levels. This is the reason they have been used on the front line of the British army for the last 300 years.

The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Hide" to "Run." The only two higher levels in France are "Collaborate" and "Surrender." The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.

Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing." Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides."

The Germans have increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs." They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbour" and "Lose."

Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual; the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels.

The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.

Australia, meanwhile, has raised its security level from "No worries" to "She'll be alright, Mate." Two more escalation levels remain: "Crikey! I think we'll need to cancel the barbie this weekend!" and "The barbie is cancelled." So far no situation has ever warranted use of the last final escalation level.

And as a final thought - Greece is collapsing, the Iranians are getting aggressive, and Rome is in disarray. Welcome back to 430 BC.

Conservative Group Says It’s Time for Governor to Take “Principled Stand” Against Government Health Care Takeover

BOGOTA, NJ – Americans for Prosperity, the state’s leading free-market, grassroots organization, is calling on Gov. Chris Christie to veto legislation that would establish Obamacare’s so-called health care exchanges in the state.

The legislation aimed at complying with the unconstitutional federal health care takeover, the “New Jersey Health Benefit Exchange Act”, passed the state Legislature in mid-March and awaits action by the governor within the next several weeks well before the much-anticipated Supreme Court decision expected by the end of June.

Mike Proto, communications director for Americans for Prosperity’s New Jersey chapter said, “Our organization respects much of the work the governor has done to try to turn New Jersey around and has stood with him on numerous issues, but on the issue of the government takeover of our health care he has disappointed.”

“The governor’s administration has already accepted federal funds for the exchange and for Obamacare’s high risk pools. The administration also failed to join the multi-state constitutional legal challenge now pending before the Supreme Court,” continued Proto. “The time has come for the governor to take a principled stand against Obamacare and to protect the rights of every New Jersey citizen to make their own health care choices.”

“Furthermore, the governor has an obligation to protect our state’s sovereignty against this federal power grab. The state’s created the federal government, not the other way around. When the federal government exceeds its enumerated powers and infringes on state’s rights, the governor has an obligation to say ‘no’,” added Proto.

“The governor needs to act. By law, this cannot wait until the Supreme Court hands down its decision two months from now. The governor must veto this bill now and let the people of New Jersey know once and for all where he stands on Obamacare.”

As part of Americans for Prosperity’s effort, the group is urging its more than 64,000 citizen activists across the state to sign onto a petition letter to the governor urging him to veto the bill.

the austere lib look. Real women avoid being associated with
feminist causes that reek with hypocrisies.

The so called liberated woman professes, it's her body and she
knows best how to care for it! Have you been in a Walmart lately?

As Institute for Energy Research Debunks Fatally Flawed Analysis Group “Study”, AFP Calls on State Legislature to Defeat RGGI Bill

BOGOTA, NJ – With a vote looming in the New Jersey Legislature on Thursday aimed at forcing New Jersey back into the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, aka RGGI, Cap-and-Trade scheme, a report claiming that RGGI has been a boon to participating states has been thoroughly debunked by energy experts.

The study, released late last year by the Analysis Group, contends that the RGGI Cap-and-Trade scheme has turned $1.6 billion in tax revenue collected via sales of carbon allowances into a $1.6 billion in net economic benefits. Liberal politicians and environmentalists, desperate to keep the failing cap-and-trade program alive, along with the multi-billion slush fund it provides, have used the Analysis Group’s faulty and misleading report as the basis for convincing lawmakers to re-enter New Jersey into the program.

Today, the Analysis Group’s findings were publicly discredited by the Institute for Energy Research (IER), the research arm of the American Energy Alliance (AEA), after a meticulous review of the study’s results.

During a press call this afternoon, Dr. Robert Murphy, Senior Fellow and Economist for the Institute for Energy Research, highlighted the major defects of the Analysis Group report.

“The Analysis Group study is based on modeling and not fact,” said Murphy. “The alleged future savings are based on mapping what’s happening over time, over the long haul. The results are all completely hypothetical.”

“The Analysis Group report admits that electricity bills are higher,” noted Murphy. “This has nothing to do with climate change, per se. There is no claimed environmental benefit in the report.”

Murphy added that the Analysis Group’s claims of thousands of “green jobs” created are likewise false and based on a “hypothetical simulation” and “modeling” forecast with no basis in reality.

Dan Simmons, AEA’s Director of State and Regulatory Affairs, described the Analysis Group’s claim of $1.6 billion in “economic value added” as “highly implausible” and “absurd,” while noting that RGGI’s targeted emission reduction goals have already been met.

“The study contains nothing about what the point of RGGI is,” said Simmons. “There has been a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions [since RGGI began]. The goal of RGGI has been achieved three times over.”

“Yet, instead of declaring victory, they want to keep the program in place.” Subsequent to today’s call, Americans for Prosperity state director Steve Lonegan issued the following statement: “The Institute for Energy Research’s airtight critique of the phony and flawed Analysis Group study puts to bed once and for all the lie that the RGGI Cap-and-Trade tax, or any tax for that matter, grows jobs and creates wealth and prosperity -- and exposes just how far the liberal left and the radical environmentalist movement will go to bamboozle the public and policy makers to advance their extremist agenda.

“The RGGI Cap-and-Trade scheme has always been about one thing and one thing only: bilking taxpayers through their electricity bills in order to provide liberal politicians and radical environmentalists a slush fund to subsidize their failed ‘green energy’ schemes.

“Enough is enough. It’s time for Trenton lawmakers to start standing up for hard-working New Jersey families rather than saddling them with skyrocketing electricity rates to pay for their pet projects and to enrich the politically well-connected.

“The bill to force New Jersey back into RGGI needs to be defeated and legislators ought to get back to work at trying to improve, rather than further damage, New Jersey’s economy.”

Will Republicans Balance the Budget?
Fellow Conservatives:

Republicans talk about balancing the budget a lot these days. The idea is so popular that it's become a central part of their campaigns.

But do they really mean it?

One way to find out is to see if they have ever written, cosponsored, or voted for a budget that would balance the federal books in 10 years or less. If a politician cannot support a proposal to balance the budget within 10 years, they're probably all talk and no action.

These same leaders talk about how their plans "bend the cost curve" in the future and put the nation on a "path to balance". These are clever phrases designed to trick voters into thinking their budgets do something meaningful when they don't.

There are many good ways to balance the budget, but it's time for conservatives to agree that doing it in 10 years or less must be the common goal achieved by every plan. We simply cannot wait 20 or 30 years to stop the accumulation of our nation's debt. We must freeze it now.

You will be pleased to know that U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has authored a new plan called "A Platform to Revitalize America" that balances the budget in just five years. I support this plan along with U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah).

We believe it's time to get serious about stopping the spending and debt, and I hope you will join us in this fight.

Conservative Group to Oppose Nominations of Mayor Bruce Harris and First Assistant Attorney General Phillip Kwon

BOGOTA, NJ – Americans for Prosperity, the state’s leading free-market, grassroots organization is announcing today its opposition to the nominations of both Chatham Borough Mayor Bruce Harris and First Assistant Attorney General Phillip Kwon to the state Supreme Court.

“After careful review and consideration of these nominees, Americans for Prosperity cannot endorse their confirmation to the state’s highest court and will work to see that they are not confirmed by the state Senate,” said AFP state director Steve Lonegan.

“The governor was elected on the promise to change the makeup of the court by replacing activist justices with originalists who will interpret the law, not make law from the bench,” continued Lonegan, “and Americans for Prosperity was fully prepared to support him in achieving this goal.

“However, there is nothing in the backgrounds of either of these nominees to assure us that Mayor Harris or Mr. Kwon will practice judicial restraint and put a stop to this court’s endless usurpations of the powers of the other branches of government if seated on the Supreme Court.”

Lonegan expressed particular concern with the nomination of Mayor Harris.

“Mayor Harris’ résumé is bereft of any experience in dealing with the Supreme Court on any level. His history is in real estate closings. He has never even written a legal brief or argued a case before the court.

“In addition, some very troubling statements made by Mayor Harris have come to light which demonstrate acceptance of prior activist court rulings, as well as a flawed view of the U.S. Constitution, that cast in severe doubt whether he would be an objective jurist.”

“Americans for Prosperity urges the governor to rescind both of these nominees, restart the vetting process and nominate individuals to the court with a proven record of practicing judicial restraint and understanding the limited role of the court in the democratic process.”

Hearings for Mr. Harris and Mr. Kwon are on the docket of the Senate Judiciary Committee for Thursday, March 22. Americans for Prosperity representatives expect to testify at the hearings and the conservative group will be mobilizing its army of more than 60,000 citizen activists as part of its efforts to have impartial, originalist justices confirmed to the state’s highest court.

Barack Obama is a radical and we should not be afraid to say it. And Barack Obama was launched from Bill and Bernadine's salon... it became self-evident to me that [Obama enjoyed] many a meal there... And don't tell me, ABC, CBS and NBC that I can't posit that theory, because it is a self-evident truth. Just like it was a self-evident truth that he was with Jeremiah Wright. And just as it was a self-evident truth that when he was at Harvard, he was advocating for the worst of the worst to join the faculty. Radicals. Radicals at "Beirut on the Charles".

And that who's in the White House. And that's who's outside right now [the Occupy movement] telling you that you don't have a right to be here. They would squelch your free speech just as easily as they do at Harvard, Vassar, Yale, Wesleyan - they're a bunch of totalitarian freaks.

The media can no longer be called objective journalists

And they pal around with our friends in the mainstream media. I always thought the media leaned to the left... but when they act like a Provost at a politically correct university and tell people to shut up, [then] no longer can they be called objective journalists. They're playing for the other side.

They've been part of demonizing good and decent people. They tried to defeat the Tea Party and when they failed, just like when they tried to create a [leftist] Rush Limbaugh and they failed with Air America, they want what they can't have. They wanted what they could not have and what did they create?

They created the "Occupy Movement". What is the Occupy Movement, you may ask? It's a natural, organic group of people -- you've never seen before in your life. Wait a sec-- these exact people protested against you at the GOP Welcoming Committee in 2008-- and two of them were arrested for planting Molotov cocktails. [These] are radicals against the police, radicals against you, exactly like Occupy, the same exact people, the same people who organized "Camp Casey" in Crawford, these are the same exact people who went down the highway at the end of the summer when Katrina happened, created Occupy New Orleans.

It's the same radicals, they've been in your life since 'Senator Obama' became part of your vocabulary. They are at war with you. They attack you. They throw eggs at you. And -- guess what? -- the media looks the other way. You're domestic terrorists, you know. Janet Napolitano warned me about that.

Yet when this group emerged, what happened? ...This is my thesis: the anti-war movement was never about anti-war. It was a Saul Alinsky community-organizing tool to get Barack Obama and the Left elected. It went away immediately.

The Occupy Movement is the Definition of Un-American

And the mainstream media created a narrative... Time Magazine's "Person of the Year... this is the anti-war movement! How do I know this? Because if I told this to ABC, CBS and NBC, they'd tell me it's a conspiracy theory -- that it's just a bunch of organic people. There's no organization going on, even though we have the emails to prove it. Or the undercover videos of Natasha Leonard of The New York Times organizing with the radicals. No, that didn't mean anything!

Bernadine Dohrn pointed out to me when I was snarkily asking 'What ever happened to the anti-war movement?', she let loose an affirmation of everything I know to be true. She said, "Well, that's not true... it's more or less what Occupy Wall Street is." And the mainstream media refuses to tell you that these are the same shock troops that have been ... instigating [against] us, instigating riots against the police, these people are the definition of un-American.

I don't care who our candidate is

You want a unity speech? I'll give you a unity speech. I don't care who our candidate is.

I haven't since the beginning of this... ask not what the candidate can do for you, ask what you can do for the candidate!

And that's what the Tea Party is.

We are there to confront [the radical left] on behalf of our candidate!

I will march behind who ever our candidate is. Because if we don't, we lose.

There are two paths! There are two paths! One is America, the other is Occupy! One is America, the other is Occupy! And I don't care, and along the way... I've realized over the last three years that the Republican Party and the conservative movement is not what ABC, CBS and NBC put on the screen.

They try to portray you in the worst possible light... and when I travel around the United States meeting people in the Tea Party who care -- black, white, gay, straight -- anyone that's willing to stand next to me to fight the progressive left, I will be in that bunker, and if you're not in that bunker 'cause you're not satisfied with this candidate, more than shame on you. Positivity: A Soldier’s Christmas, and a Call to Action

The embers glowed softly and in their dim light,
I gazed ’round the room and I cherished the sight.

My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.
Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
transforming the yard to a wintry delight.

The sparkling lights in the tree, I believe,
completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.

My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment or so it would seem,
So I slumbered. Perhaps I started to dream.

The sound wasn’t loud, and it wasn’t too near.
But it opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn’t quite know.
Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.
My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.

Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood his faith weary and tight.
A soldier, I puzzled, some 20 years old.
Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and he smiled,
Standing watch over me and wife and my child.

“What are you doing?” I asked without fear.

For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift,
Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts.

“I can live through the cold and being alone,

I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet.
I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat.
I can carry the weight of killing another,
Or lay down my life with my sister and brother,
Who stand at the front against any and all,
To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall.”

“So go back inside,” he said. “Harbor no fright.
Your family is waiting, and I’ll be all right.”

“But isn’t there something I can do?
At the least give you money?” I asked.
“Or prepare you a feast.
It seems all too little for all that you’ve done.
For being away from your wife and your son.”

Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret.
“Just tell us you love us, and never forget
To fight for your rights back at home while we’re gone,
To stand your own watch no matter how long.”

“And when we come home, either standing or dead,
To know you remember we fought and we bled
Is payment enough. And with that we will trust,
That we mattered to you as you mattered to us.”

Since the founding of our country, brave soldiers have always left their homes and families to fight and to protect the freedom that we enjoy.

All too many have willingly given their very lives to ensure that their families and their posterity will be able to enjoy peace and prosperity.

Wherever our soldiers have fought, they have established freedom. No lands were conquered, no people subjugated. After every conflict, each soldier quietly returned home, leaving behind only freedom in place of the conflict which cost so many of their lives.

Wherever there is freedom, it has always won by the shedding of blood.

Can we at home do any less than fight for our freedom? Can we stand idly by as our Constitution is being trampled on by those who seek power over us?

We owe it to our Founding Fathers to stand up, take notice, and take action. We must ensure that our rights and freedom are preserved for future generations.

To arms, to arms! The war cry sounds again. Now is the time for each of us to do our part.

ESPN and others let out a collective groan almost as loud as they did after the tidal wave victory of Proposition 8 keeping marriage between one man and one woman (no bestiality, pedophiles or homosexual "marriage" would be endorsed by the state of California).

If you listen to some of the sports commentators on the major sports TV and radio stations, Tebow (7-1 as a starter) is a "bum" and a "clown."

Jim Rome claimed Tebow shouldn't even be in the NFL, even as a back-up.

Interesting, "unbiased" analysis when one considers the other Heisman Trophy winning quarterback- Cameron Newton.

Cam Newton, 4-9 leading the Carolina Panthers, is talked about as the greatest thing since the forward pass.

Could it be anti-Christian politics and group-think biases influence the press, even in sports?

If you listen to Tebow himself, he is giving credit to everyone but himself and yes, this includes GOD. This is not complicated. Denver was 1 -4 before Tebow and 7 - 1 with him.

He is not winning all of these games for Denver himself. He is bringing an atmosphere of selflessness, team spirit and hope to Denver. Why does this make so many people so mad? God forbid we have a good role model.

Your front page headline article (Sun. Nov. 20), "The Signs of Global
Warming", touting the signs of man-made global warming, is totally
slanted toward the "environmental whacko" projection of fraudulent
man-made global warming.

A perfect example of this fraud can be illustrated by that global warming
guru, Al Gore, who proclaimed that due to the the melting of the polar
ice-caps, most all cities abutting the oceans, will be flooded out due
to the oceans reaching 20 ft. above the present sea levels.

So what does the pseudo-scientist, Al Gore do, he buys property along
the California coastline. Maybe he knows something we don't know or
that he won't tell us the truth?

That must be his "Inconvenient Truth" or is it a "Convenient Lie".
Let's have an article, in the future, by some reputable global warming
"deniers", of which there are thousands. The Sun-Sentinel always
tries to be fair and balanced, right?

I have worked on campaigns for both Republicans and Democrats, white and black. I served the country that I love in Vietnam, as my son did in the Middle East. I was awarded two bronze stars. I have been involved in politics since age 6 when my father was campaign manager for a truly great American Congressman, Charles Raper Jonas, who worked for his constituents and his country, and was to be admired, unlike you.

You obviously haven't read the Constitution recently, if ever, the Federalist Papers, or even David McCulloughs book on John Adams. You ought to take the time while riding around in your government provided luxury executive jet to do just that. You represent Socialistic and even Marxist principals that our founding fathers tried to avoid when setting out the capitalistic republican form of government represented by our Constitution.

I find it interesting that you and your husband are multi-millionaires with much of your fortune being made as a result of your public service. You have controlled legislation that has enhanced your husbands investments both on and off shore. At the same time you redistributed the wealth of others. Our system of a free market economy is being destroyed by the likes of you, Harry Reid, and now our President. You ride around in a Gulfstream airplane at the tax payers expense while criticizing the presidents of companies who produced something for the economy. You add nothing to the economy of the United States; you only subtract therefrom.

I would like to suggest that you return to the city of fruitcakes and nuts and eat your husbands canned tuna and pineapple produced by illegal immigrants and by workers who have been excluded from the protection that 90% of the legal workers in the United States have.

I await your defeat in the next election with glee.

Don't ever use the term un-American again for protesters who love this country and are exercising their rights upon which this country was founded. By the way, while I served in the Army, I was spit on by the same type of lunatics who support you and who you probably supported in the 60s and 70s. You are an embarrassment to all of us who served so that you would have the protected right of free speech to call us un-American. But at the same time, I have the right to write you to notify you that I consider you to be un-American, as do the majority of the people of this formerly great country. You are a true disgrace to most of the people who served this country by offering themselves for public service in the United States Congress.

I feel certain your aides will not share this letter with you, but I intend to share it with many.

Occupy Wall Street - Vulgar Miscreants

The current feverish media coverage of the “Occupy Wall Street” crowd proves forever the divide that they have constructed in telling Americans about “news”.First, the crowd has chosen a nondescript park well removed from what is Wall Street to conduct their squatting, but the media has said nothing of this. It might as well be Cleveland.

Second, the media has done all it can to draw favorable comparisons to The Tea Party, which is a pathetic mischaracterization of the comparable purposes and behaviors of the two groups; The Tea Party cause has opposed mindless and wasteful government spending and excessive taxation, while the OWS crowd is against Wall Street bailouts, banks, profiteering, millionaires and billionaires, and “social injustice”, whatever that means.

Third, The Tea Party gatherings showed cleanly dressed, well behaved, mostly employed adults with hand-made signs, while OWS is populated by unclean, vulgar, hippy-type miscreants sporting shop-made signs, creating filth but being paid an hourly stipend by “interested parties”, such as the leftist George Soros. One questions the earnest spontaneity of the cause when there is compensation involved, even if the media wont.

The media has spared Americans of the truth about issues, or their favored personalities, like the current president, for the past fifty years. It was during this era that “journalism” died, replaced by reportage whose political leanings super-cede veracity. Trusted outlets of information muddied reality with opinions too often and too well for devotees to notice. Or care. Only the advent of the internet has saved what was once an honored trade.

The media’s refusal to tell Americans that OWS is a mélange of irreverent groupies seeking face-time on TV and handouts begs the question of their message; at least the anti-Vietnam War mobs had one. The comparison with a genuinely focused Tea Party is simply noise.

CBS, earlier this year, vowed to return to journalism. I wish them luck. We all need more truth and less dogma.
