Occupy the Anthill stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the SEIU group singing, We shall overcome.


Then racist Rev Al Sharpton's assistant has the group kneel down to pray for the grasshopper
while he damns the ants. The Reverend Al can not attend as he has contractual commitments to appear on his MSNBC show for which he is paid over two million dollars a year to complain that rich people do not care.


President Barry Obama condemns the ant and blames President Bush 43, President Bush 41, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper's plight….


Nancy Pelosi and; Harry Reid exclaim in an interview on The View
that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper ,
and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.


Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity and Anti-Grasshopper Act
retroactive to the beginning of the summer.


The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper .


The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house,
crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken
over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and peaceful, neighborhood.

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.

A German's View on Islam

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful Muslim majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians -- most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:


#1 -- Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

#2 -- Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

#3 -- Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts--the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

#4 -- Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world-wide, read this and think about it, and send it on - before it's too late.

Mark Hemingway at the Weekly Standard uncovered a quote from Texas Governor, Rick Perry, that distills the essence of the consistent, conservative approach that forms the basis for his efficient management of our most successful state:

Government isn't difficult in theory...Don't spend all the money, keep taxes low, have a fair and predictable regulatory climate, keep frivolous lawsuits to a minimum, and fund an accountable education system so that you have a skilled work force available. Then get the hell out of the way and let the private sector do what the private sector does best.

Under Barely the President, we have seen our federal government spend all the current available money and have dipped into the pockets of our children and grandchildren for more. Regulatory budgets in Washington have grown 16% since 2008, topping $54 billion while employment at federal regulatory agencies has climbed 13% under B.O. to 281,000. Obama has imposed more than 75 new major regulatory rules since taking office, adding 18% to the number of pages in the Federal Register and cost the private sector more than $40 billion according to the Heritage Foundation. More than 4,200 new regulations are in the works as well. Incredibly, the genuises in the Obama administration are now proposing a federal "Department of Jobs."


Now the Campaigner-in-Chief is spending an additional $100 million of our money on a bus tour to stump for more Keynesian bloat. Even Jon Stewart sees through the canard that the Obama Under the Bus tour represents B.O. performing official government business.

Rick Perry's succinct prescription for successfully managing government starkly contrasts with B.O. Theory:

Spend all the money. Raise taxes. Impose a hostile and punitive regulatory bureaucracy upon the private sector. Unleash the lawyers and turn the education system over to union hacks. Nationalize failing business models and invent crony socialism.

It looks like we really have a clear choice.

Dear Mr. President,

Welcome to the ashbin of society.

With the speech you gave last week, you have firmly and permanently put yourself in the same garbage bag as all the other communists and socialists of the 20th century.

Your speech sounded like the faint echo of a speech Lenin gave in an icy square in Moscow 100 years ago.

The promises you made, Mr. President, about the government giving people things they can't provide for themselves – a better income, reliable health care, an advanced education, cheaper mortgages, a "shiny, happy" life – have been made time and time again… sometimes by speakers even better than you.

And they have always been lies.

While the government can demand obedience (and taxes), it can't mandate dedication, creativity, or innovation. The fact is, the government itself is nothing more (or less) than the organized ambitions of the people.

Promising something to the people that they don't already have is a logical absurdity. And therein lies the timeless flaw of all collectivist theory: Governments cannot deliver benefits to the people that the people cannot deliver to themselves.

To demonstrate this truth, consider this example… Governments cannot simply mandate higher tax revenue. Any substantial increase to tax rates will reduce total collections, an economic phenomenon known as the "Laffer Curve."

This has been proven countless times in our country and many others. Any sensible person will immediately understand why. Taxes are a disincentive. The higher the marginal rate of tax, the more powerful its impact.

That's why, over many decades (and many different tax structures), U.S. tax revenues have been remarkably stable at around 20% of GDP. That's why, as you surely know, Mr. President, changing the tax code will not result in increased tax revenue.

Taxing only the rich simply doesn't work. It never has. And it never will. To increase the government's revenues, we must first increase the size of the economy. The government cannot tax what the economy doesn't produce.

In another time, most Americans might have simply ignored your speech as the ignorant remarks of yet another handsome, Ivy League-educated, dilettante president. But at this point in our history, my bet is people are going to take you far more seriously than you expect. In fact, I think you're going to get what you deserve – the trash heap. Why will Americans turn on you so rapidly and so completely?

Two things have changed – forever – about American politics.

The first is the media and access to critical information. It's no longer possible for a president's administration to control what people read, see, and think by simply managing the evening news broadcasts.

Thus, all your lies are now exposed almost instantly and broadcast to millions of people via websites and services like the Drudge Report, Twitter, and Facebook. Socialism cannot possibly survive over any long period of time in a society with a free media – because socialism is based on a lie. Facebook means the "half-life" of socialism is now weeks instead of years.

Even mainstream publications like the Wall Street Journal have called you a liar recently. They have no choice. Your lies were broadcast to the entire world long before their op-ed pieces appeared.

Your advisors told you none of these "bloggers" mattered. All you had to do was promise more benefits to more voters and then force fewer voters to pay for it all. I'm sure you did the political calculus. You believed your power to bribe and bamboozle the poor and the ignorant was stronger than the resentment you'd engender among the "rich." And I must admit… since at least World War II, that's been a safe bet in American politics.

But you forgot one critical factor: We simply can't afford this nonsense anymore…

Immediately after your speech, the price of silver went from $39 to a new high above $42. Gold went up, too.

These are signs, Mr. President, that the world is losing confidence in our currency. If our foreign creditors were to call in our debts, America would suffer an economic cataclysm unlike anything we've ever seen in our entire history.

Americans now owe a total of $56 trillion. Without the Fed's money-printing, it's unlikely we could afford even the interest on these existing debts… much less the $1.5 trillion or more in debt you continue to rack up year after year by promising benefits we haven't earned.

Sooner or later, our foreign creditors are going to decide our money-printing amounts to a default, and they will stop buying our bonds. On that day, everyone who trusts you, everyone who believes in your lies, will be wiped out.

But that won't be as many people as you expect.

Almost every American knows in his heart what made this country great for the 200 years between 1776 and 1976. It wasn't the lies of our presidents. It wasn't our ability to print money and rip off our Chinese creditors. It wasn't the modern crybaby mentality of our school system or our unions. It wasn't the baby boomer's dream of a 40-year retirement with free prescription drugs.

And it sure as hell wasn't a suave, made-for-TV version of Karl Marx promising everything to everyone, but with no way to pay for it.

No. What built America was her people's unwavering faith that they were free to enjoy the rewards of their accomplishments.

As our country tumbles into bankruptcy and crisis, the people are going to want their prosperity back, Mr. President. And deep down, they all know… even your most fervent supporters know… you don't have the goods. You don't have the foggiest idea of how to deliver prosperity to America because, really, you don't understand what America is all about.

Doc jailed over Obama’s hidden birth certificate free in less than 3 weeks
Friends of Lt. Col. Terry Lakin are hoping a few hundred people will show up to greet the jailed military doctor when he’s released from prison and returns to Baltimore, Md., on May 14.

Dr. Terry Lakin, an Army doctor who refused to deploy again to Afghanistan when his chain of command refused to verify that Obama legitimately is president, has been serving a six-month term at Ft. Leavenworth in Kansas.

A website has been established to coordinate the welcome event, which convenes at 10:15 a.m. at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Organizers are asking supporters to preregister their planned attendance – to coordinate with airport security – and to come with small U.S. flags and homemade posters thanking Dr. Lakin for his stand.

“We need a big hurray and lots of applause,” the website states. “He may say a few words. Then we’ll get him to his luggage, to his car and home.”

MORT's Meanderings: April 18, 2011

April 18, 1942

This date in our history like so many others, has silently slipped into the abyss of forgotten dates marking significant events that helped shape our nation.

This morning, I scanned our local newsrags and tuned into several AM radio stations but, failed to read or hear one reference made to the event that took place on this date in 1942 - The Doolittle Raid on Japan. It was on that date that LTC. Jimmy Doolittle led sixteen twin-engined B-25 Mitchell bombers off the tossing deck of the aircraft carrier, USS Hornet (CV-8) and headed toward the homeland of our enemy in the Pacific, to drop their 2000 lb.bomb loads on Japan.

This event occurred just four months after the Japanese attack, Sunday, December 7, 1941, upon our military base and Naval facility at Pearl Harbor on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. That sneak-attack cost the lives of more than 2,000 of our soldiers and sailors and literally destroyed our Pacific fleet anchored in the harbor. This was a crippling blow that caught us completely unaware and very nearly rendered us utterly defenseless in the Pacific. Fortunately, our Pacific-based aircraft carriers were at that time, on the high seas and thus, escaped the fate of many of our Navy's ships, sunk at their moorings. Thus began our direct involvement in World War II.

In the intervening months between 'Pearl Harbor' and this April 18, 1942 date, Japan had swept across the Far East and the Pacific Islands in a wave of conquest and terror that was virtually unopposed. British, French, American forces were overwhelmed by the military might of Imperial Japan. U.S. Armed Forces were defeated and captured or had to be re-located to safer locations such as Australia, ahead of the onrushing enemy. Morale in America was scraping the bottom of the barrel. While we were gearing up our military and war materiel industrial facilities, we were suffering the shock of reading daily newspaper headlines that screamed of defeat after defeat at the hands of the Imperial Forces of the island nation of Japan. We were frightened and we had every right to be apprehensive about the outcome. We desperately needed some hope.

President Roosevelt recognized the dire necessity of some sort of military victory to bolster our courage and stiffen our resolve. FDR prevailed upon his Chief Military advisors to come up with a plan - and, they did. After some high-level, top-secret discussions about the feasibility of an aerial attack on the homeland of our enemy, early aviation pioneer and renowned air-racing pilot Army LTC. Jimmy Doolittle, was picked to plan, organize and head-up the mission. And, did he ever? Within an incredibly short time frame, he selected the type of aircraft to do the job and he chose the most capable crews available to fly them. Then, he set about training them at an air base in Florida, in the unprecedented task of flying land-based medium bombers off the deck of an aircraft carrier, while at sea. When the critical date arrived, the planes were flown to the West Coast where all 16 planes and crews were lifted aboard the USS Hornet. The ship steamed toward the location in the Pacific just a couple hundred miles off the coast of Japan, where it had been planned to launch the mission to bomb several targets on the soil of the Japanese homeland.

That plan was foiled when a Japanese 'fishing boat' spotted the USS Hornet underway and radioed the report to Japan. The 'fishing boat' was quickly blown out of the water but, the secrecy of the mission had been breached and the planes had to be launched about 200 miles before it had been planned to do so. Thus, adding even more to the odds stacked against the mission's success.

The entire story of this mission, its success and its aftermath, are legend and are committed to history books such as, "First Over Japan", an autobiography of Lt. Jack A. Sims, co-pilot of plane No. 14 of the "Doolittle Raiders" (ISBN 0-9716398-2-5 © 2002 Southpointe Press, Author: Jack A. Sims, Colonel (USAF, Ret'd) with A. B. Cook). To quote from the review of this book I was invited to write and privileged to contribute:
"Of the signal events in the military history of the United States of America, there is Washington's crossing of the Delaware, the Doolittle Raid on Japan just four months after Pearl Harbor and then, there is everything else."

To note that in less than an average lifespan after this event, it no longer has a place as even the merest footnote in lists of significant events on, 'This Date in History', is tragic. It is a deplorable and a truly sad commentary on this generation's knowledge of or respect for, such a significant event in our nation's history.

While others might forget, I shall never forget. God bless the Doolittle Raiders and all the other courageous men and women who heeded the call to duty, to protect and defend their country, when called upon to serve during World War II. They did so, unselfishly and without a whimper.

Lest we forget.

Mr Goldstein, you claim that Gov. Rick Scott "looks scary". fine that's your opinion, but have you looked into the mirror lately? You make "Mr. Peepers" look like Cary Grant. So much for the pettiness, your ideas "suck".

Your sour grapes diatribe is your reaction to the results of last November's election results. Do you really think you'd be ranting and writing such partisan garbage if the Democrats won the last election? Of course not, as you are just a partisan "hack" columnist with a minimal amount of common sense.

What's also comical is your reference to the fact that Rick Scott got 48.9% of the vote in November and therefore, should not have been elected. Where were you, "Beau Brummel", when "Slick Willie" Clinton won the presidency by garnering 43% and 48% of the vote in 1992 and 1996? Was he an illegitimate presidential winner?

Your specious column is quite obvious in your desire to turn back the results of the 2010 election because your side didn't win. Swallow up your false pride Stephen and crawl back under your rock till the next time the Sun-Sentinel gives you a chance to look foolish.

My deep gratitude to Congressman Allen West

Even before the New York Times Breaking News Alert hit my inbox to let me know that the House of Representatives had passed the "budget deal" in a 260-167 vote, Rep. Allen West had already apprised me of how he voted and why. As I have subscribed to his email list, I received a copy of his Statement for the Congressional Record.

This is it, in its entirety. It may be the first time ever that reading the Congressional Record has made me cry.

Allen West is a superior public servant, and even though I am not one of his fortunate constituents, I am nevertheless deeply grateful for the distinguished and honorable manner in which he comports himself and the seriousness, honesty and transparency with which he serves.

Mr. Speaker: This past weekend I had an important milestone occur in my life. My oldest daughter, Aubrey, turned 18 years old. It seems like it was only yesterday that I held this small baby in the palm of my hand and now she is a grown mature woman about to start college and begin the next phase of her life.

I flew back to Florida last Saturday so that I could be with her on this very special day in her life. Turning 18 is important for every American. Because at 18 years old, under the law, you are now considered an adult and she was proud to register for the most important right – the right to vote for our elected leaders.

When my daughter was born in 1993 the Federal Government debt was $4.3 trillion. Just 18 years later, I will shortly be faced with a vote on whether to raise the debt limit to over $15 trillion dollars. When I held my daughter as a baby, I never thought that our nation would be in such financial distress and on its way to a major economic catastrophe.

Over the weekend, as I celebrated with my daughter, I thought even harder about what the United States will be like when she will be my age and what would her son or daughter, my grandchildren, think when they look back in the history books at this critical time in our Republic’s history.

Last November, the citizens of the 22nd Congressional District, and millions of Americans, voted for a new direction for our country. They sent a message to our elected representatives that we needed to end out-of-control government spending, reduce our national debt, and get our fiscal house in order.

The Democrat Majority and President Obama over the last two years have produced deficits of $1.4 and $1.25 trillion, and the President has produced a Budget for Fiscal Year 2012 which would add another $1.6 trillion.

The American people know that the federal government is collecting $2.2 trillion and spending $3.7 trillion this year.The American people know that forty cents of every dollar the federal government spends is borrowed, much of it from China. The American people also know our nation is piling up new debt at the rate of $4 billion a day.
The Era of Big Government Spending is Over! In 100 days the debate in Washington has gone from a freeze in government spending to addressing cuts in spending.

As we are all aware, the 111th Congress was controlled by overwhelming Democrat majorities in the House of Representatives and the United States Senate. Yet even with these enormous majorities, Congress failed to pass a budget or any of the Appropriations bills.

Members of the former Majority Party in the House of Representatives have now resorted to the political rhetoric that the Republican Party is trying to kill women, starve seniors, and the budget deal is the functional equivalent of bombing innocent civilians. They make these statements even after Majority Leader Reid and President Obama recognize that we need to cut federal spending.

This type of political rhetoric is beneath us. We can disagree on the direction we are taking our nation, but let us have a debate on the facts and policies. The American people demand an adult conversation instead of childish name calling.

Mr. Speaker, I want to take a moment to briefly summarize my thoughts and votes during the negotiations for the Budget for Fiscal Year 2011. I voted for the first short term Continuing Resolution in the 112th Congress in order to provide Speaker Boehner the necessary time to negotiate with an intransigent United States Senate and White House.
I voted against the second Continuing Resolution because I believed that we were continuing to kick a can down the road, and that the Obama Administration and Members of the Democrat Party wanted to force the Federal Government into a shutdown in order to win political points. It seems their goal is the hope that by shutting down the Federal Government, the American people will perceive an inflexible Republican Party and return the Democrats to power in the next election.

I voted for the Department of Defense Appropriations bill, which contained another short term Continuing Resolution, in order to support my Brothers and Sisters in uniform. However, I made the Leadership of the Republican Party aware that I believed using the military as a bargaining chip in the negotiations as a way to pass yet another continuing resolution was indefensible.

As the clock approached the time to shut down the Federal Government, an agreement was finally reached. In order to draft the bill and provide time for the American people to review the bill, the House considered, and I voted in favor of another Short Term Continuing Resolution. I always stated it was never my intention to shutdown the Federal Government.

At the Army Airborne school in 1984 I had a black hat instructor say, “If you set the bar low, you will jump low!” Today, I will be voting against the negotiated agreement because I believe that we set the bar too low and it does not fulfill the promise I made to the constituents of the 22nd Congressional District of Florida. While this bill is a step in the right direction, I am voting against the Department of Defense and Full-Year Continuing Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2011, H.R. 1473 because it is important for elected leaders to stand by the pledges we make to the American People.

It takes five miles to turn an aircraft carrier, I am pleased, that finally, the Republican Leadership has finally taken control of the helm and begun to turn the wheel. However, I believe we need to turn the wheel a little harder. At this moment in our nation’s history, when the facts are so clear and the political hyperbole is so hollow, my vote reflects that we need more to get our ship of state on the right course.

That is what my adult daughter Aubrey expects, that is what my teenage daughter, Austen expects, that is what my wife Angela expects and that is what every American expects.

THE U.S. VS MEXICO: On February 15, 1998, the U.S. and Mexican soccer teams met at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The crowd was overwhelmingly pro-Mexican even though most lived in this country. Did you know that immigrants from Mexico and other non-European countries can come to this country and get preferences in jobs, education, and government contracts? It's called affirmative action or racial privilege. The Emperor of Japan or the President of Mexico could migrate here and immediately be eligible for special rights unavailable for Americans of European descent. Recently, a vote was taken in the U.S. Congress to end this practice. It was defeated. Every single Democratic senator except Ernest Hollings voted to maintain special privileges for Hispanic, Asian and African immigrants. They were joined by thirteen Republicans. Bill Clinton and Al Gore have repeatedly stated that they believe that massive immigration from countries like Mexico is good. They have also backed special privileges for these immigrants.

Corporate America has signed on to the idea that minorities and third world immigrants should get special, privileged status. Some examples are Exxon, Texaco, Merrill Lynch, Boeing, Paine Weber, Starbucks and many more.

DID YOU KNOW?: Did you know that Mexico regularly intercedes on the side of the defense in criminal cases involving Mexican nationals? Did you know that Mexico has NEVER extradited a Mexican national accused of murder in the U.S. in spite of agreements to do so? According to the L.A. Times, Orange County, California is home to 275 gangs with 17,000 members; 98% of which are Mexican and Asian. How's your county doing?

According to a New York Times article dated May 19, 1994, 20 years after the great influx of legal immigrants from Southeast Asia, 30% are still on welfare compared to 8% of households nationwide. A Wall Street Journal editorial dated December 5, 1994 quotes law enforcement officials as stating that Asian mobsters are the "greatest criminal challenge the country faces." Not bad for a group that is still under 5% of the population.

Is education important to you? Here are the words of a teacher who spent over 20 years in the Los Angeles School system. "Imagine teachers in classes containing 30-40 students of widely varying attention spans and motivation, many of whom aren't fluent in English. Educators seek learning materials likely to reach the majority of students and that means fewer words and math problems and more pictures and multicultural references."

WHEN I WAS YOUNG: When I was young, I remember hearing about the immigrants that came through Ellis Island. They wanted to learn English. They wanted to breath free. They wanted to become Americans. Now too many immigrants come here with demands. They demand to be taught in their own language. They demand special privileges--affirmative action. They demand ethnic studies that glorify their culture.

Notorious Jamie Gorelick to be nominated for FBI Director?

Jamie Gorelick "Helped to Bring us 9/11 AND Housing Collapse" Is On Short List to Lead FBI

Barack Obama really knows how to pick them. It's not often that one person plays key roles in two -- count 'em, two -- trillion-dollar disasters but Jamie Gorelick is one. She helped to bring us 9/11 and the collapse of the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Ms. Gorelick is on the presidential short list to be the head of the FBI.

As Deputy Attorney General under Bill Clinton from 1994 to 1997 Jamie Gorelick wrote the memo that created the now infamous "Gorelick Wall." A 1995 memo she wrote, stated explicitly that they would "go beyond what is legally required, [to] prevent any risk of creating an unwarranted appearance that FISA is being used to avoid procedural safeguards which would apply in a criminal investigation." These rules were, shortly after their creation, expanded to regulate such communications in future counter-terrorism investigations. It set a procedure where various intelligence operations could not share information with each other.

Jamie Gorelick's wall barred anti-terror investigators from accessing the computer of Zacarias Moussaoui, the 20th hijacker, already in custody on an immigration violation shortly before 9/11.

At the time, an enraged FBI investigator wrote a prophetic memo to headquarters about the wall


'Whatever has happened to this -- someday someone will die -- and wall or not -- the public will not understand why we were not more effective in throwing every resource we had at certain problems.....especially since the biggest threat to us UBL [Usama bin Laden], is getting the most protection.

Here's another "fun" Jamie Gorelick story. She was a member of the 9/11 commission but did not share her "wall memo" with anyone until, Attorney General John Ashcroft was blasted for the "wall" while he was testifying before the 9/11 commission and said:

"Although you understand the debilitating impact of the wall, I cannot imagine that the commission knew about this memorandum, so I have declassified it for you and the public to review," he said. "Full disclosure compels me to inform you that its author is a member of this commission."
OOPS! Hey She forgot to share that memo. I am sure she is sorry.



Gorelick's "wall" blocked America's view just when it needed its vision to stop the worst terrorist attack ever on our shores. But that was her encore. Before that she worked on destroying the economy.

Gorelick was appointed the Vice Chairman of Fannie Mae and served in the role from 1997 to 2003. During that six-year period, she earned over $26 million. During her tenure, Fannie suffered a $10 billion accounting scandal, because of falsified transaction. These bogus transactions helped FNMA hit earnings targets for 1998, which triggered bonuses for top executives including nearly $800,000 to Gorelick

During Gorelick's tenure Fannie Mae began to bundle subprime loans into securitized financial instruments, actually she led the charge.

In 2001, Gorelick made the announcement that Fannie was buying subprime loans encouraged by the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and bundling them as securitized financial instruments. Securities made from bundles of guaranteed mortgages were to contribute to the economic collapse in 2008. (H/T CNSNews)


“Fannie Mae will buy CRA loans from lenders' portfolios; we'll package them into securities; we'll purchase CRA mortgages at the point of origination; and we'll create customized CRA-targeted securities,” she said in 2001. “This expanded approach has improved liquidity in the secondary market for CRA product, and has helped our lenders leverage even more CRA lending. Lenders now have the flexibility to use their own, customized loan products.”

In remarks before the American Bankers Association on Oct. 30, 2000, Gorelick explicitly how the process would work and what Fannie Mae would do to make it feasible for banks to lend to low-income applicants.

“We will take CRA loans off your hands--we will buy them from your portfolios, or package them into securities--so you have fresh cash to make more CRA loans,” she said. “Some people have assumed we don't buy tough loans. Let me correct that misimpression right now. We want your CRA loans because they help us meet our housing goals.”
And there's more. Remember those "Friends of Angelo" VIP loans given by the now bankrupt Countrywide Savings that got Chris Dodd in trouble because they were a major conflict of interest? Jamie Gorelick received one of those "conflict of interest loans" while she was Vice-Chair of Fannie Mae. According to a letter by Congressman Issa which can be found online.

Gorelick helped to close America's eyes to the coming of the 9/11 attacks and hid her involvement from the 9/11 commission she served. Prior to that, Gorelick served Fannie Mae as Vice Chair when it fudged transactions so top executives (Gorelick included) could get a hefty bonus and it started offering the product that almost brought down the economy. But at least she got some nice "Friends of Angelo" loans from Countrywide Savings out of it.
This is the person that Obama wants to run the FBI ? If she does get the President's nod it will be further proof that our President is puts partisan progressive politics before the good of the American people.

Update: Some very smart people are telling me that the rumors of Gorelick being on the short list are over-blown, but on the other hand George Soros' propaganda arm Media Matters, is spending lots of its time defending Gorelick and her wall today.

Jewish Journal: Where the editorial ink stinks

Reading the columns of the hard-left-leaning pseudo-rabbis in the Jewish Journal, who refer to themselves as 'Jewish journalists' is for me, an extremely tiresome task. I believe that if applied to these writers, both the descriptive terms 'Jewish' and 'journalists', are mawkish misnomers.

The Jewish Journal itself, a weekly supplement that accompanies the sullied Sun Sentinel, is an insult to both the Jewish religion it purports to serve and the profession of opinion writers. I'm bound to say it is so bad, that I'm even suspect of the credibility of the paid ads that fatten each issue.

The ideologies of Political Correctness, Liberalism, Progressivism, radical Islam, so-called Moderate Muslims and the rest of the misguided miscreants who consider themselves intellectuals, are washing over us like a Tsunami of toxic waste. Why this is so, is beyond me.

It astonishes me that the proponents of such illogical and irrational ideologies are so gullibly taken in by this kind of political Oragami. That they can place their full faith in such paper fabrications that have no practical application and whose structural integrity has failed in every single instance when they have been resurrected, is a conundrum wrapped in an enigma and shrouded in an unsolvable mystery.

I wonder if any of these rabbi-journalists or any of their Lemming-like followers ever actually lived under one of the anti-Semitic, anti-American, anti-free enterprise, anti-individual freedom regimes such as they yearn for? It is hard for me to believe that anyone who has endured the oppression and thuggery that is part and parcel of these pie-in-the-sky-collectivism' governmental formats - and has survived to tell the tale, could be induced to drink that Kool-Aid ever again.

I'm left to believe that the readers and followers of the wrong-headed rabbi-journalists who write the treif-tripe that is printed in the Jewish Journal, are intellectually lazy, unbearably selfish, in total denial of reality and even worse - are so very stupidly willing to be misled by their misguided mavens. The primary consequence of such self-indulgence is that it puts our traditional American way of life, our personal freedoms and the very Liberty of our nation at terrible risk.

If I were searching for a redeeming feature that would be common to both the Jewish Journal and its cadre of rabbi-journalists just discussed, I might compare them favorably to the honesty, unbiased reportage and editorial integrity of the New York Times. That's the best I can do.
