Sgt. Schultz
First there was "Operation Fast and Furious," when the ATF, Justice department and
other agencies who might have had a hand in it, was responsible for the murders of
border patrol agent Brian Terry and U.S. immigration agent Jaimi Zapata, because of
a gun smuggling operation gone sour.
Then there was the terrorist attack on our consulate in Benghazi that killed Ambassador
Christopher Stevens, security personnel Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods and former navy
seal Glen Doherty, victims of the administration ignoring their call for more security and
help. As the attack was going down, President Obama devoted a fifteen minute conversa-
tion with defense secretary Leon Panetta before heading off to Las Vegas for a fund raiser,
with no follow up.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was AWOL and nobody knew where she was. Nobody
seems to know who sent out U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to all the Sunday morning talk
shows, to blame Mark Basseley Youssef's amateur film, "Innocence of Muslims" for a mob
attack on the consulate.
At a congressional hearing to get answers for this screw-up, Hillary's remark about the four
dead Americans was, "What difference does it make at this point?" In other words, we're
shutting the barn now, why keep beating a dead horse?
The Obama administration's latest screw up, to put fear in the public, is what the consequences
of sequestration will have on the budget by having the Department of Homeland Security release
thousands of criminal illegals under federal custody. Both the White House and DHS head Janet
Napolitano deny they gave the order or knew about the release.. It certainly wasn't the governor
of Arizona, Janice Brewer.
Who is responsible for all this irresponsibility? There seems to be a lot of Sergeant Schultz
staffers in Obama's key positions, "I KNOW NOTHING, I HEAR OR SEE NOTHING!"
Does anyone in this administration know anything?
Without trying to sound redundant, the Obama government has to be the most disingenuous and
dishonest one in our life time, that we are destine endure for the next four years, and its re-
percussion far into the future.

"Racial Arsonists" in the Liberal Media
We have another Letter to The Editor below for the Sun Sentinel, from Chuck On The Right Side. The Sun Sentinel Newspaper pushes Political Correctness like there is a reward for these Cowards. Oh wait, there was a reward, the election of the Affirmative Action Hero, Barrack Hussein Obama.
Dear Editor:
With the release of the new evidence in the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman case, you'd think that the Sun-Sentinel would've used a different headline on their front page relating to this case.
The S/S headline read, "Cops: Shooting "avoidable", when the headline, to be objective, should have read, "New Evidence Points to that Zimmerman Acted in Self-Defense", because that's what the new evidence showed. The injuries to the body of Zimmerman were not self-inflicted and the shot happened within 2" to 18" inches away, which shows that Zimmerman was on the ground being pummeled by Trayvon and he pulled his gun in self-defense.
How come this case is split along right vs. left, as is our politics? The majority of conservatives think Zimmerman was justified in his actions and the liberals think Zimmerman acted by racially profiling Trayvon and stalking him.
This case is unraveling just like the Duke Lacrosse case, but the real victims were the one's accused by the "racial arsonists" and the liberal media, not the victims they falsely portrayed as the victims.
Sincerely,
Chuck On The Right Side

If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you're not a racist, you'll have to vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you're not an idiot!

Leader Liar Launches
Today's ( May 5, 2012) news is very confusing. It is reported
President Obama is formally launching his re-election cam-
paign. Isn't it redundant, when I thought listening to his endless
media exposure, he launched it the day after he was sworn in in
2009.
Mr. Obama has to use teleprompters because his memory isn't that sharp to speak extemporaneously. It becomes evident when comparing the scads of contradictions in his rhetoric of more than three years. Being a liar requires a good memory. Pick any promise he made and compare it to reality. The truth makes no difference to his lemmings, because they are attracted to phonies, like his Hollywood friends.

Climategate and Fakegate
The promoters of the global warming hysteria never really recovered from Climategate, the release of e-mails and data which demonstrated that climate insiders were using questionable data, promoting misleading arguments, and conspiring to block dissenting views from the scientific literature. It was a fatal blow to the credibility of the warmists, and it has been followed by a steady stream of distinguished scientists standing up publicly to withdraw their backing from the global warming "consensus." The latest example is an op-ed by sixteen such scientists in the Wall Street Journal, followed up by a devastating response to their critics.
The global warming alarmists are losing the argument, and the latest scandal—James Delingpole calls it Fakegate—shows just how desperate they have become.
7th International Conference on Climate Change
What: Seventh International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC-7)
Theme: Real Science, Real Choices
Where: Hilton Chicago, 720 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL
When: Monday, May 21 – Wednesday, May 23, 2012
Real Science, Real Choices
This year's conference theme is "Real Science, Real Choices." The program features approxiamtely 60 scientists and policy experts speaking at plenary sessions and on three tracks of concurrent panel sessions exploring what real climate science is telling us about the causes and consquences of climate change, and the real consequences of choices being made based on the current perceptions of the state of climate science.
Major developments on the science front since the last ICCC took place last summer in Washington, DC include publication of a new report by the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC) updating its 2009 report, Climate Change Reconsidered, and a new report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on extreme weather events and climate change.
The past year was marked by major retreats in the U.S. and other developing nations from government subsidies and investments in solar and wind power. The widely publicized bankruptcies of renewable energy firms such as Solar Trust of America and Solyndra, and slow economic growth and fiscal crises afflicting many European countries, have forced many policymakers around the world to reconsider the costs and consequences of basing energy choices on fear of man-made global warming.
Climategate and Fakegate
On November 22, 2001, a second batch of emails among scientists working at the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit was released by an unknown whistle-blower. "Cimategate II" revealed prominent scientists concealing data, discussing global warming as a political cause rather than a balanced scientific inquiry, and admitting to scientific uncertainties that they denied in their public statements.
Like an earlier release of emails on November 19, 2009, on the eve of the 2009 U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, Climategate II caused an uproar in the scientific community and a further drop in public belief in man-made global warming. But a series of friendly investigations of the Climategate affair, along with the timely expiration of the statute of limitations for the offense of failing to comply with Freedom of Information Act requests, spared the scientists involved from any legal penalties.
On February 20, 2012, another global warming scandal broke, this one involving criminal behavior that is likely to be much more difficult to cover up. Peter Gleick, president of the Pacific Institute and an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences, confessed to using fraud to obtain confidential corporate documents from The Heartland Institute and arranging for them to be posted online. The scandal became known as Fakegate because Gleick also circulated a fake memo he claimed outlined Heartland's "climate strategy."
In his confession, Gleick said "a rational public debate is desperately needed." We agree, which is why we have repeatedly invited scientists with wide-ranging views to speak at these conferences. Indeed, we invited Peter Gleick to speak at a Heartland event, an invitation he turned down on the very day he began his fraud.
ICCC History
Past conferences have taken place in New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, and Sydney, Australia and have attracted nearly 3,000 participants from 20 countries. The proceedings have been covered by ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX News, the BBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Le Monde, and most other leading media outlets.
Past ICCCs have featured presentations by members of Congress, the president of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus, and scientists who view themselves as "skeptics" as well as "alarmists." Atmospheric scientist Scott Denning, who believes in man-made global warming, spoke at ICCC-4 in 2010 and ICCC-6 in 2011. Hear his remarks here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkL6TDIaCVw
Attendance Information
ICCC-7 is open to the public. Registration is required. More information is available at the conference Web site. For media credentials, register here or contact Tammy Nash at tnash@heartland.org or 312/377-4000. Don't Move the Rock, There are Snakes Under It
The liberal machine is at work trying to make Republicans
and Conservatives appear heartless and out of the loop.
The Fluke fiasco which her backers claim wrongfully, people
with moral fiber hate women. Also, because they are against the
mandate for another free entitlement.
The argument has nothing to do with women's health or rights
and everything to do with separation of church from state.
As long as it's a liberal cause, it's OK with the ACLU!
In the few cases where health might be involved, contraception
products are readily available, free or at minimal cost.
It was disgusting to witness our President phone his Obamacare
shill, immediately after her put up appearance before Congress,
to praise this over sexed law student, Sandra Fluke for her
testimony and adding, how proud he'd be if his own daughters
emulated her.
The latest one to join this chorus of misguided feminists is
Hillary Clinton, appearing very matronly these days, with
the austere lib look. Real women avoid being associated with
feminist causes that reek with hypocrisies.
The so called liberated woman professes, it's her body and she
knows best how to care for it! Have you been in a Walmart lately?
I rest my case!

Dismantling Obamacare
Today we have a very important message from Congressman Patrick McHenry with the House Conservatives Fund.
Dear Conservatives of America,
While the rest of the world has been focused on the new iPad this week, conservative Republicans in the House have been focused on IPAB. IPAB -- the Independent Payment Advisory Board -- is the panel of un-elected bureaucrats who will be making decisions about your health under Obamacare.
This week, we scored a major victory in our ultimate goal of full repeal of Obamacare, as two key House Committees under pressure from conservatives in the House voted to repeal IPAB altogether.
IPAB is one of the worst parts (of many) that make up Obamacare. As one expert recently warned before the House Ways and Means Committee, IPAB “absolutely will” lead to rationing health care.
For a more thorough look at how IPAB would ration care under the guise of “cost containment” read this Forbes Op/Ed: “President Obama’s Dangerous New Medical Board”
President Obama is doubling down on one of the most dangerous provisions in his 2010 health overhaul law. In his proposed budget, he plans to give even greater powers to the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), a panel created by the new health law to contain Medicare spending.
The IPAB is one of the most egregious parts of ObamaCare because it puts rationing of care on auto pilot. A House subcommittee, chaired by Rep. Joe Pitts (R-PA), is expected to vote today on a bill that would repeal the IPAB entirely. The Ways and Means Committee also will vote, and then it will go to the full House of Representatives for a vote, likely next month. After that, the legislation faces an uncertain fate in the Senate, where Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) just introduced an IPAB repeal bill.
Click here to continue reading on Forbes. It is a very informative article.
Whether it’s outright repeal or dismantling Obamacare until it collapses under its own weight, conservatives in the House are 100% committed to ending this disaster. The House Conservatives Fund will only endorse candidates that are also committed to ending Obamacare.
Please take a minute to share the good news about IPAB repeal with your friends on Facebook.
Thanks for your support.
Sincerely,
Congressman Patrick McHenry

Exposing Liberal Media Bias and Double Standards
We have a fantastic letter below written by Brent Bozell. He sent it to the MSM (Media Supporting Marxists) at CNN (Communist News Network). Brent Bozell is truly an American Hero and exposes the Liberals who call themselves Journalists. The Letter mention Pierce (Piers?) Morgan. Has this Piers Morgan shown his true colors as a Phony Talk Show Host? He is just a Liberal (hypocrite) in an expensive suit that props up Barry Soeotoro. Don’t we have enough phony liberals in America yet now we have to import these Clowns?
Not enough Americans know who he is and that is a shame. Any Person who values Life should be aware of Brent Bozell. No Mr. Bozell will not spout out his favorite part of the Saul Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals” like Michelle Obama does. No, Brent Bozell is probably not known by the Barry Soetoro Supporters because Mr. Bozell does not worship Karl Marx.
Bozell Letter to Piers Morgan of CNN: Coverage of Limbaugh Apology is a Double Standard
MRC President Brent Bozell sent the following letter to CNN Host Piers Morgan on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Sam Feist, CNN DC Bureau Chief, and Jim Walton, CNN President were cc’ed.
Dear Mr. Morgan,
I am disturbed by your ongoing double standard when it comes to coverage of political rhetoric. On your show, you recently called Rush Limbaugh out for his insulting comment about a Georgetown law school student: “Limbaugh’s disgusting comments are the work of an archaic old dinosaur living in a warped, ugly swamp, who thinks it’s okay to degrade decent young women for sport and ratings. Well, it isn’t it. Shame on you, Rush Limbaugh.” Fair enough. However you have seemingly turned a blind eye to the similar rhetoric of one of your guests – Bill Maher.
Rush Limbaugh made the regrettable blunder of calling Sandra Fluke, who testified on behalf of the administration’s mandate against religiously affiliated institutions, “a slut.” Let’s all agree Limbaugh crossed a line. He agrees. He issued an apology to Fluke “for the insulting word choices.” This should be sufficient, but it’s not and the skewering continues.
On the other hand, when Bill Maher and other leftist commentators make similarly inappropriate remarks, they are practically ignored. To be fair, you are not alone when it comes to such a double standard. Indeed, CNN and the media overall are guilty of such unacceptable hypocrisy.
Nearly a year ago (March 18, 2011), Bill Maher on his HBO show used far more vile sexist language to insult Sarah Palin as a “dumb twat.” Even after NOW condemned Maher — “Stop degrading women with whom you disagree and/or don’t like by using female body terms or other gender-associated slurs” — CNN never once bothered to report it.
Instead, CNN has warmly received Maher on its programs and elevated him as a leading “progressive” political pundit. Over the past year, Maher has appeared on CNN five times, plus another appearance on CNN’s Headline News Network. Not once was he asked about his sexist comments, or the scores of other vulgar and offensive remarks he makes on a regular basis.
Indeed, when Maher appeared on CNN on March 22, just 4 days after attacking Palin — interviewer Eliot Spitzer (“In the Arena”) refused to raise the issue. Instead, he lavished Maher with praise: “Your show is brilliant. I love watching it.”
During the current Limbaugh controversy, only one CNN host (Anderson Cooper) raised the double-standard issue, noting very briefly on March 2 that “Bill Maher, on the left,” has “said some pretty outrageous things,” but offering no examples or any further discussion of Maher.
And there are many more examples of such lewd comments made by Maher at CNN. For a year, CNN has been pampering and promoting Maher.
And it’s not just CNN. Limbaugh has been singled out and condemned across the national media – ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, NPR, PBS, Associated Press, The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and USA Today. How many of these outlets have condemned Bill Maher with equal vigor for his attacks on Palin? How many of these outlets condemned him at all? Ed Schultz called Laura Ingraham a “slut” on his radio show. MSNBC suspended him for a week, but none of Schultz’s advertisers dropped his show under media pressure. There was no pressure. Some of the same sponsors now pulling out of Rush’s show still support Schultz.
In the interest of promoting and cultivating a meaningful dialogue based on mutual respect, you and other prominent figures in the media, including other journalists at CNN, ought to report such defamatory personal insults made towards all public figures.
Double standards only serve to make these situations worse. If you are really serious about promoting civil discourse you should treat figures like Maher, Schultz and other liberal pundits the same way you treat Limbaugh.
I think a constructive conversation can be had in the media addressing such a double standard, and you are certainly in a place to do just that.
Sincerely,
L. Brent Bozell III

Allen West Will Not Support Marxism
We see the majority of the MSM in Florida is still supporting Barry and the Radical Democrats. Liberals will give up their rights just to say they support the Political Correctness that will kill us all. That is why we need more People like Allen West, Marco Rubio and Adam Hasner down here in Florida.
Below is a Letter from our Friends at Chuck On The Right Side.
Dear Sun Sentinel Editor:
Senior editorial writer of the Sun-Sentinel, Doug Lyons, says that black Rep. Allen West doesn't represent black Americans because he doesn't support the Marxist -Socialist line as promulgated by the self-appointed black leadership.
Doug says that the West message doesn't resonate in the black community because it doesn't address their needs. What are their needs, more welfare, more government, more affirmative action programs, more handouts? Well, have their needs been met by the present day liberal Democrat policies that they have been embracing for the past 70 years? With a black community that has a 16% unemployment rate, an unwed birth rate of 70%, and a close to 40% school dropout rate, is that the model that should be embraced by the black community?
Maybe the views and policies of Rep. West is what the black community should be clamoring for instead of the "plantation" type policies of the Democrats.
I think Doug Lyons should re-think his failed philosophy and latch onto the Rep. Allen West bandwagon.
Sincerely,
Chuck On The Right Side

Your First CHRISTMAS CARD of the Season
Twas the Month before Christmas
When all through our land,
Not a Christian was praying
Nor taking a stand.
Why the PC Police had taken away
The reason for Christmas - no one could say.
The children were told by their schools not to sing
About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.
It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say
December 25th is just a "Holiday".
Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!
CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-Pod
Something was changing, something quite odd!
Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa
In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.
As Targets were hanging their trees upside down
At REI the word Christmas - was no where to be found.
At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.
Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty
Are words that were used to intimidate me.
Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.
And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace
The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.
So as you celebrate "Winter Break" under your "Dream Tree"
Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.
Choose your words carefully, choose what you say
Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS,
not Happy Holiday!
Please, all Christians join together and
wish everyone you meet
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Christ is The Reason, for the Christ-mas Season!

God Bless The United States Military

I hope this poster circles the globe. The United States Military deserves thanks from America. Look how we repay them? We give them a Commander in Chief who despises them and the Police. A POTUS who states that Our Military is Bombing innocent Women and Children. A POTUS who sat in a Racist Church fro 20 years and told the World that our Troops lost in Iraq.
God Bless America.
If it weren't for the United States Military, there'd be NO United States of America.
God Bless United States Military
THE FINAL INSPECTION
The Soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.
'Step forward now,Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?'
The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
'No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
When the bills got just too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear..
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears
If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand.
There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
'Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell.'
Author Unknown~
It's the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us the freedom of the press.
It's the Soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us the freedom of speech.
It's the Soldier, not the politicians
That ensures our right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness..
It's the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag.
Please pass this on and pray for our men and women who have served and are currently serving our country. And pray for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for freedom. We must fire this Embarrassment to America.

Convenient Lies from Al Gore
Dear Editor of the Sin Sentinel,
Your front page headline article (Sun. Nov. 20), "The Signs of Global
Warming", touting the signs of man-made global warming, is totally
slanted toward the "environmental whacko" projection of fraudulent
man-made global warming.
A perfect example of this fraud can be illustrated by that global warming
guru, Al Gore, who proclaimed that due to the the melting of the polar
ice-caps, most all cities abutting the oceans, will be flooded out due
to the oceans reaching 20 ft. above the present sea levels.
So what does the pseudo-scientist, Al Gore do, he buys property along
the California coastline. Maybe he knows something we don't know or
that he won't tell us the truth?
That must be his "Inconvenient Truth" or is it a "Convenient Lie".
Let's have an article, in the future, by some reputable global warming
"deniers", of which there are thousands. The Sun-Sentinel always
tries to be fair and balanced, right?
Sincerely,
Chuck on the Right Side

Two and one half years and Barry Hussein does not produce a Budget. Why is this guy in Office??? Listen to this Lurch Phony, John Kerry try and step up to the plate. He is a sack of garbage who trashes our Veterans and then says WE need to pay more taxes. All the while the solution for sicko Kerry is dodging any taxes that he can.
The Democrats and anyone (Semi Colon Powell) who supported this Guy should be taxed to no end! These Obama supporters have to know by now the damage being done and they are to blame.

No Tyrants in the White House Again
We hear many people criticize the Republican Candidates. So Rick Perry had a Christian gathering. If Obama had a Muslim gathering would the lowlife main stream media say anything? So Rick perry is a Christian. Is that worse than being a member in the Barack Husein Obama religion with Rev Wright? The great article below is by Ralph Alter. There should be no doubts as to who needs to get the boot from the White House. Let's just say the Marxist Guys needs to go! No tyrants in the White House anymore!
Obama vs. Perry in a nutshell
Written by Ralph Alter
Mark Hemingway at the Weekly Standard uncovered a quote from Texas Governor, Rick Perry, that distills the essence of the consistent, conservative approach that forms the basis for his efficient management of our most successful state:
Government isn't difficult in theory...Don't spend all the money, keep taxes low, have a fair and predictable regulatory climate, keep frivolous lawsuits to a minimum, and fund an accountable education system so that you have a skilled work force available. Then get the hell out of the way and let the private sector do what the private sector does best.
Under Barely the President, we have seen our federal government spend all the current available money and have dipped into the pockets of our children and grandchildren for more. Regulatory budgets in Washington have grown 16% since 2008, topping $54 billion while employment at federal regulatory agencies has climbed 13% under B.O. to 281,000. Obama has imposed more than 75 new major regulatory rules since taking office, adding 18% to the number of pages in the Federal Register and cost the private sector more than $40 billion according to the Heritage Foundation. More than 4,200 new regulations are in the works as well. Incredibly, the genuises in the Obama administration are now proposing a federal "Department of Jobs."
Now the Campaigner-in-Chief is spending an additional $100 million of our money on a bus tour to stump for more Keynesian bloat. Even Jon Stewart sees through the canard that the Obama Under the Bus tour represents B.O. performing official government business.
Rick Perry's succinct prescription for successfully managing government starkly contrasts with B.O. Theory:
Spend all the money. Raise taxes. Impose a hostile and punitive regulatory bureaucracy upon the private sector. Unleash the lawyers and turn the education system over to union hacks. Nationalize failing business models and invent crony socialism.
It looks like we really have a clear choice.

Rick Perry For President - No More Community Organizers
Rick Perry: Time to Get America Working Again
Relating to the official presidential announcement, Rick Perry has launched a new, two minute campaign video.
The governor of the great State of Texas is “America’s jobs governor,” and “conservative to the core,” and he is not an incompetent Community Organizer who downgrades America. Rick Perry is someone with “proven executive leadership.” Rick Perry does not run away from social issues but is rooted in concerns about jobs and the economy. America is falling apart with the current ACORN Leadership. We do not need a Rev. Wright Protegee, we need a Fight and a Leader.

The Dirty Little Secret Behind the Chevy Volt
The “Dirty Little Secret Behind the Chevy Volt”…. The Chevy Volt MUST NOT be allowed to fail! The Rest of the Story. This is what happens when the Marxist Community Organizer and his Regime try to run (DESTROY) the marketplace.
Patrick Michaels is a senior fellow in Environmental Studies at the Cato Institute and the editor of the forthcoming Climate Coup: Global Warming’s Invasion of our Government and our Lives, as well as the author of several other books on global warming.
His Forbes column on the Chevy Volt is a case study in the nexus between big government corruption and big business rent-seeking.
Michaels briefly recaps the well-known consumer fraud in which GM has touted the Volt as an all-electric mass production vehicle on the supposed basis of which its sales receive a $7,500 taxpayer subsidy, which still renders it overpriced and unmarketable.
Michaels notes that “sales are anemic: 326 in December, 321 in January, and 281 in February.”
There seems to be a trend here.
Michaels adds that GM has announced a production run of 100,000 in the first two years and asks what appears to be a rhetorical question: “Who is going to buy all these cars?”
But wait! Keep hope alive! There is a positive answer to the question.
Jeffrey Immelt’s GE will buy a boatload of those uneconomic GM cars. Here the case study opens onto the inevitable political angle: Recently, President B. Hussein Obama selected General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt to chair his Economic Advisory Board.
GE is also awash in windmills waiting to be subsidized so they can provide unreliable, expensive power.
Consequently, and soon after his appointment, Immelt announced that GE will buy 50,000 Volts in the next two years, or half the total produced.
Assuming the corporation qualifies for the same tax credit, we (you and me) just shelled out $375,000,000 to a company to buy cars that no one else wants, so that GM will not tank and produce even more cars that no one wants. And this guy is the chair of Obama’s Economic Advisory Board?
But of course. Michaels includes this hilarious detail in his case study:
In a telling attempt to preserve battery power, the heater is exceedingly weak. Consumer Reports their tests averaged a paltry 25 miles of electric-only running, in part because it was testing in cold Connecticut. (The [GM] engineer at the Auto Show said cold weather would have little effect.) It will be interesting to see what the range is on a hot, traffic-jammed summer day, when the air conditioner will really tax the batteries. When the gas engine came on, Consumer Reports got about 30 miles to the gallon of premium fuel; which, in terms of additional cost of high-test gas, drives the effective mileage closer to 27 mpg. A conventional Honda Accord, which seats 5 (instead of the Volt’s 4), gets 34 mpg on the highway, and costs less than half of what CR paid, even with the tax break.
The story of the GM Volt deserves a place in the Harvard Business School curriculum….but of course, it won’t. It’s a classic tale of the GOVERNMENT deciding what the public needs, not the marketplace.

Immicrats
Barack Obama traveled to El Paso on May 11th, not for immigration reform
to fix a neglected third rail problem, but to recruit Latino Immicrats for
his 2012 reelection bid; taking advantage of the boost in polls, thanks
to the efforts of the intelligence community of 4 years ago.
Foreigners who are waiting in quota lines for their turn to emigrate here,
are doing so because they want to be Americans. Those like the ones
the President addressed today, who thumb their noses at our laws and enter
our borders illegally do not!
What ever the President does is usually not good for the country, but what
is good for him. He has surrounded himself with radical ideologues that
could never have been accepted to their present capacity and positions if
under the scrutiny of intelligent, responsible people. Many of this rabble are
products of the 60's who are responsible for the deterioration of our moral
and Judeo-Christian values.
The dignity of the Presidential office has been compromised by Obama when
you see who he invites to the White House...... profane rappers erroneously
dignified by labeling them serious poets, biased radicals, known
communists, anti American advocates, reversed racists followed by a long list
of others with a chip on their shoulder.
God! Save us from another four years of this erosive savior.

Conservatives Needed in South Florida Meetings
Re: Join us on Tuesday's and Friday's
Dear "Right" Minded Friends:
Now that many of the snow birds have left town, we could use some fresh faces at the Current Events Forums to battle the great "unwashed" liberals who drink the Obama Kool-Aid. As you probably realize, this coming Presidential election is going to be the roughest ever. Lies and misinformation by the liberals abound, especially at these forums, so it's up to us to confront them with the truth. We could use your presence in adding some common sense to these proceedings. Try to make one or both. I will greatly appreciate your help and input.
Tuesday at 10:30 AM - Church of the Palms - 20th St. and North Swinton Ave. (approx. 1 mile North of Lake Ida Rd.) in Delray Beach.
Church of the Palms
1960 North Swinton Avenue
Delray Beach, FL 33444-4399
================================
Friday at 10 AM - SouthWinds Golf Club - just South of Yamato Rd. on Lyons Rd. in Boca Raton.

Letter from Porter Stansberry to BHO
Dear Mr. President,
Welcome to the ashbin of society.
With the speech you gave last week, you have firmly and permanently put yourself in the same garbage bag as all the other communists and socialists of the 20th century.
Your speech sounded like the faint echo of a speech Lenin gave in an icy square in Moscow 100 years ago.
The promises you made, Mr. President, about the government giving people things they can't provide for themselves – a better income, reliable health care, an advanced education, cheaper mortgages, a "shiny, happy" life – have been made time and time again… sometimes by speakers even better than you.
And they have always been lies.
While the government can demand obedience (and taxes), it can't mandate dedication, creativity, or innovation. The fact is, the government itself is nothing more (or less) than the organized ambitions of the people.
Promising something to the people that they don't already have is a logical absurdity. And therein lies the timeless flaw of all collectivist theory: Governments cannot deliver benefits to the people that the people cannot deliver to themselves.
To demonstrate this truth, consider this example… Governments cannot simply mandate higher tax revenue. Any substantial increase to tax rates will reduce total collections, an economic phenomenon known as the "Laffer Curve."
This has been proven countless times in our country and many others. Any sensible person will immediately understand why. Taxes are a disincentive. The higher the marginal rate of tax, the more powerful its impact.
That's why, over many decades (and many different tax structures), U.S. tax revenues have been remarkably stable at around 20% of GDP. That's why, as you surely know, Mr. President, changing the tax code will not result in increased tax revenue.
Taxing only the rich simply doesn't work. It never has. And it never will. To increase the government's revenues, we must first increase the size of the economy. The government cannot tax what the economy doesn't produce.
In another time, most Americans might have simply ignored your speech as the ignorant remarks of yet another handsome, Ivy League-educated, dilettante president. But at this point in our history, my bet is people are going to take you far more seriously than you expect. In fact, I think you're going to get what you deserve – the trash heap. Why will Americans turn on you so rapidly and so completely?
Two things have changed – forever – about American politics.
The first is the media and access to critical information. It's no longer possible for a president's administration to control what people read, see, and think by simply managing the evening news broadcasts.
Thus, all your lies are now exposed almost instantly and broadcast to millions of people via websites and services like the Drudge Report, Twitter, and Facebook. Socialism cannot possibly survive over any long period of time in a society with a free media – because socialism is based on a lie. Facebook means the "half-life" of socialism is now weeks instead of years.
Even mainstream publications like the Wall Street Journal have called you a liar recently. They have no choice. Your lies were broadcast to the entire world long before their op-ed pieces appeared.
Your advisors told you none of these "bloggers" mattered. All you had to do was promise more benefits to more voters and then force fewer voters to pay for it all. I'm sure you did the political calculus. You believed your power to bribe and bamboozle the poor and the ignorant was stronger than the resentment you'd engender among the "rich." And I must admit… since at least World War II, that's been a safe bet in American politics.
But you forgot one critical factor: We simply can't afford this nonsense anymore…
Immediately after your speech, the price of silver went from $39 to a new high above $42. Gold went up, too.
These are signs, Mr. President, that the world is losing confidence in our currency. If our foreign creditors were to call in our debts, America would suffer an economic cataclysm unlike anything we've ever seen in our entire history.
Americans now owe a total of $56 trillion. Without the Fed's money-printing, it's unlikely we could afford even the interest on these existing debts… much less the $1.5 trillion or more in debt you continue to rack up year after year by promising benefits we haven't earned.
Sooner or later, our foreign creditors are going to decide our money-printing amounts to a default, and they will stop buying our bonds. On that day, everyone who trusts you, everyone who believes in your lies, will be wiped out.
But that won't be as many people as you expect.
Almost every American knows in his heart what made this country great for the 200 years between 1776 and 1976. It wasn't the lies of our presidents. It wasn't our ability to print money and rip off our Chinese creditors. It wasn't the modern crybaby mentality of our school system or our unions. It wasn't the baby boomer's dream of a 40-year retirement with free prescription drugs.
And it sure as hell wasn't a suave, made-for-TV version of Karl Marx promising everything to everyone, but with no way to pay for it.
No. What built America was her people's unwavering faith that they were free to enjoy the rewards of their accomplishments.
As our country tumbles into bankruptcy and crisis, the people are going to want their prosperity back, Mr. President. And deep down, they all know… even your most fervent supporters know… you don't have the goods. You don't have the foggiest idea of how to deliver prosperity to America because, really, you don't understand what America is all about.

Hat Tip to Mr. I
Welcome to the ashbin of society.
