President Obama and Nancy Pelosi are set to visit South Florida on Monday, October 11 to campaign for my opponent, Liberal Incumbent Congressman Ron Klein.
Obama and Pelosi are coming here because Klein's attempts at character assassination have failed. I'm leading Klein in the polls by six points, and our campaign has out raised Klein all year.
Klein is hosting Obama and Pelosi for a high dollar fundraiser at the home of an ex-NBA basketball player in a very exclusiveneighborhood not even in the district.
Obama and his political team are hoping they can give Klein a financial boost to keep attacking me over the last month.
Klein's attacks have been vicious. Recently Klein and his political cronies sent a mailing to tens of thousands of homes in South Florida revealing my Social Security number and my wife's Employment ID number.
It was a new low in American politics. And by coming here to support Klein, the President and Speaker are signaling to the American people that they condone this type of grotesque behavior. But we must buckle down and fight back if we want to restore honor, character and integrity to Washington, D.C.
